Before using this product it is necessary to inflate it several times in the first week. This process allows for the natural expansion of the puncture-resistant PVC material and lets it maintain its intended size and shape. Use and subsequent deflating of the mattress before this adjustment period is over should not be perceived as a leak.

Queen=size airbed
We ordered this to sleep on, when we flew out of state to visit our daughter. We found that we had to re-inflate the bed every 1-2 nights, even though neither my husband nor I are in any way overweight. Even with overinflation, we found that we could really feel the others every movement on the bed. We have a cheaper mattress at home, that we have found much more comfortable and less movement sensitive than this one. We weren't impressed.

When I first inflated the airmattress I LOVED the way it felt. My boyfriend and I had purchased it for an upcomming camping trip and wanted something that could comfortabley hold both of us (we are large individuals). After reading all of the reviews and searching all over the internet I decided to purchas this air mattress. I did as the instructions stated and inflated the bed prior to use so that the vinyl could stretch out. After the first night (of no one sleeping on it) the mattress had deflated somewhat... I wasn't sure if this was due to the stretching of the vinyl or not so I reinflated it in hopes that it would be okay. On and off my boyfriend and I, as well as our friends tested it out just to see how it felt. Even my smallest friends with a combine weight of 260 lbs the mattress deflated after them laying on it for 5 minutes. Needless to say... I was still hopefull... so my boyfriend and I took it on our camping trip (mostly because I did not have time to find a replacement) and we were very dissapointed. After inflating it, the mattress would be amazingly comfortable for the first 20 minutes or so... and then we started to notice the air leak. We couldn't hear where it was or find it to patch it so I am fearful that the leak is in the pump unit. We had to reinflate the mattress in the middle of the night on each night of our camping trip. It was bothersome... but at least we never officially 'ended up on the ground' as the leak was very slow and we could still sleep on it for about 4 to 6 hours at a time without it becomming too uncomfortable. I am sad to say that I am returning this product because it was faulty. I will get a replacement in hopes that it is a much better item. And I will update as soon as I determine the qualty of that product. After all that being said... had I not gotten a faulty mattress that didn't leak... I would say that the air mattress was one of the most comfortable I had ever laid on when fully inflated. The one I purchased unfortunately would not stay inflated.

needed sleeping arrangement for company and when it arrived we liked it so much we ordered a 2nd one ... it arrived 3 days later so we are set now with a house full of visitors and everyone has a very comfy place to sleep ... it inflates in just a min or two and deflates it's self as well ... perfect!

Never could get this mattress hold air!!
Never thought to inflate the mattress to check quality as the on site description was all I thought necessary. WRONG! This mattress sat for a couple of months until was needed. We followed the instructions to inflate to stretch unit initially. It continues to require inflation months later..... It needs air after just a few hours. Guests could only laugh at the absurdity in having to inflate through the night, otherwise they would have hit the ground eventually. Wished I had checked it out as it would have been returned immediately, now I have a big waste of space
