I was worried after reading some of the reviews that the table would arrive with defects, but it was fine and was so easy to put together. It's very cute and has a nice dark cherry finish.

Poor Quality and workmanship

Very Cheaply made. I wouldn't reccomend this to any friend. I was on business travel ,and when I returned, it was too late to return.

not like the picture

the table is nice but not as dark as the picture. I thought it would have been a more mahogany finish but is more a red cherry. I love the design, very early american. I will keep the table but maybe stain over it to give it a darker look. Haven't decided yet though.

After placing a second order after receiving damaged merchandise. I was still unsatisfied with the replacement. The table had flaws in it that was very noticable.

I love the style and the color works. It is a red brown or cherry wood color??? The down side, you can see some of the seam lines down the legs and across the front. The table does have some paint build up around the crease of the side. It's not that bad but you can see it when you get eyelevel and close up.

these tables are not worth the money

they arrived-very poorly made-joints were already coming apart-would send them back but it is such a hassel-so don't bother buying them-you will be disappointed!!!

think carefully before purchasing

This table arrived nicley packaged, although there were a few small dents in the legs. It was easy to assemble, and is sturdy and stable. However, the cherry finish is poor quality and looks spayed, without any sealant or final finishes. The joints around the side of the tabletop were not filled during construction, and the cherry finish was already coming off those spots upon arrival. This would never be mistaken for quality furniture; you are not getting any bargain. Consider layering a table skirt over the top!?!

Good for the money

Just as the previous reviewer described the table is much lighter in person. It's definitely a cherry stain. It is extremely sturdy and it was so easy to put together. If you are looking for an attractive piece at an affordable price then this is the table for you!

Very cherry colored, nice overall

This is a truly red toned piece of furniture! Has an overall feel of good workmanship and sophistication. Perfect for a side table or end table. Purchased these to flank a sofa in a traditionally furnished room...works well for that end. Once again, VERY cherry finish if you are attempting to match more "espresso" type furnishings. I was very pleased overall and think they are a good value for the money. Blend well with antiques. Very practical size for an end table.

Early American Cocktail Table

The table itself is quite solid and very sturdy. It's a great size for an end table - it easily accommodates a table lamp, coasters, remotes, etc.. My only complaint is that the color is much lighter than it appears in the displayed pic. It is actually more of a cherry wood stain - more reddish than black/ dark brown. Other than that I am pleased with the product - particularly for the price!
