The table itself is quite solid and very sturdy. It's a great size for an end table - it easily accommodates a table lamp, coasters, remotes, etc.. My only complaint is that the color is much lighter than it appears in the displayed pic. It is actually more of a cherry wood stain - more reddish than black/ dark brown. Other than that I am pleased with the product - particularly for the price!

it is a very good table for the price. It was easy to put together however one leg would not screw in but with a little wood glue it is sturdy. it was so easy to make this purchase on overstock that i will do it again. Also the package arrived very quickly and table was delivered with no damage

I needed a cheap, solid table that was a nice size that I could paint & customize to my decor. This table was perfect. I'm crafty, so with a coat of silver spray paint & some "bedazzling" the table looks like it could be sold in a trendy boutique furniture store.

I liked the size and specs of this table, and the shape. I'd read the reviews about the color inacuracy, but planned on painting it anyway, so didn't care. Once received, it came out of the box and was easy to put together. The top is nice and wide, wider than most pedestal tables of this proportion. This is about a $** table which is about what I paid for it. So, I'm pretty satisfied with it! Now that it's sanded, painted and sealed, it looks nicer!

Other than the screws not correct (which my husband was able to fix). it was very nice.

Table was difficult to put together because the holes were not drilled completely or correctly. One of the feet was broken and glued back together. The table is made mostly of MDF and the it was stained. The stain is rubbed off in some places and chipped in others. I suppose if I had paid what it's worth, about $20, I wouldnt complain, but it's really junky

The description threw me off, with a title like Early American I expected a dark wood with little to no shine to it. I was expecting a bit of an antique look. What I got was a dark red wood color and a shine out if this world. The craftsman ship lacked some what, but was decent for a $$$ end table. As for height and space it was perfect. Overall, my biggest disappointment was in the color, I want Early American, not Early 90's.

You get what you pay for! The finish on this item was very poor, and it was not stained completely. Not to mention, the stain was bubbled in places. I would not recommend this table to anyone. Very, very disappointed in the quality and workmanship.

I love it, the color and size it fits perfectly in our quest bedroom.

Have been looking for a round side table but all of the were too costly. This one was exactly what I have been looing for at a very affordable price.

I love the design of this table. It fits well with the rest of my furniture. I read the reviews regarding the color of this so I knew going into it it was going to be in the red tone. Sure enough it was. I was hoping for a little deeper walnut red but it'll do. I would say the color is like a cherry brownish color. There wasn't any dent or cracks but the finish on one side wasn't nicely done, but for the price I cannot complain. I just turned it around so it's not visible and it's not a big deal. The assembly was very simple...took me 10 minutes to put together at most. If you are aware of the color and have no problem with it I definitely would recommend it. For the price you can't beat it!

Like everyone else said, this is alot more red than it looks in the picture. Not what I would call "Mahogony". Also the hardware sent with it to put the legs on the bottom is not the right hardware. Can't decide if I'm going to send it back or not.

This is in the living room. It is a reddish color which is what I wanted. The clear coat is not the greatest but for the price it serves its purpose.

My table arrived with some damage, even though it was packed very well. There were several pieces gouged, scratched and rough edges. I also was disappointed with the finish, as it was much more red than it looked it the picture. Overall, for the price it wasn't a bad table. I'm sure if I contacted Overstock they would have sent replacement pieces, but I didn't bother.

The table met all my expectations except for the color. I thought the expresso table would be a chocolaty color but it is a deep red. Love the table but it doesn't go with the other woods in the room, otherwise would recommend it!

The table is a beautiful colored wood. The packaging was not sufficient to protect the table during shipping. The table suffered a few chips in the wood, but I was able to position it so the chips are not easily seen. Assembly was very easy.Overall, I am mostly satisfied with the table.
