lovely bed
I love the bed and my mattress seems so much more fluffier since I put this bed together. I bought a king but from the fit of the mattress it looks like this bed is for a Cal King mattress. I read that on another review and should have listened. It's not that bad but I do wish the mattress fit better..

Great Bed Frame
I was skeptical when the package showed up. On the outside the boxes were a mess, but luckily everything inside was fine. Exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy. It was easy to put it together, which I did on my own. I love it and would recommended to anyone. Great product at a great price. Just what I expect from Overstock.

Metal Cherry Poster Bed
The bed came in 3 different boxes. My husband and I put it together in approx. 2 hours. It was quite easy as long as you followed the instructions. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and would look good with any decor. I am very happy with the quality of the product. One complaint - regarding the height of the headboard. Today's mattresses seem to be getting deeper and by the time you add your pillow, duvet and fancy pillows/cushions on top, the headboard is virtually hidden. The posters and some of the bronze metal work are still visible, but I wish the headboard was taller, as it is really beautiful and deserves to be seen. The footboard is clearly visible so all is not lost! It is a lovely be and great value for the money.

Perfect! Exactly what I wanted
I already had the dresser and nightstand that I got from JCPenny.com, but I changed from a queen to king bed, so I needed a new headboard for my king mattress. It matched exactly to my existing furniture.

Frame too large
The frame is as pictured and described but my king size mattress set is at least six inches smaller than the frame. I ordered without measuring for exact fit (after all a king is a king, right?). I will engineer a solution but I'll be more cautious in the future.

Better than i hoped it would be
i ordered this bed in king for my 6'3" son. well made and sturdy bed very easy to put together. the directions are passable but nothing to stop you from putting the bed together. alll of the parts were included. the metal cross post to support the box frames is a very nice change from the usual wood slats. the bed fits a regular king mattress perfectly, i not recommend trying to put a california king in it.

Ummmm what size is this for??
The bed is an absolute A+ in almost every category. For the price it's a hard beat. The only issue I have is that my king size mattress has about 3"-4" play. The rails are slick so the mattress may be on the left side when I get out of bed and the right when I go to bed. Too small for a California King and too big for a King!!

Nice bed for the price
Nice bed. Looks good, will go with most decor. There is space on each side, about 1/2 an inch on both sides. Not sure why. Box was banged up, but bed just fine. Easy to assembly. Well worth the price. Probably cant use a bed skirt. But Iove it! I could have bought a similar bed for 4x the price at a furniture store. The bulbs on the posts are wood, but everything else is metal. Stil a good buy!
