I had high hopes for these chairs: the pictures online looked great and a friend's mom had had a very good experience ordering a couch from Overstock.com. Unfortunately these chairs did not live up to my hopes and in fact, I returned them. The colors in the fabric were very different than the online pictures- the fabric in general was quite different. The online photos make it seem like a very short nap velveteen, or some other fabric with a little sheen, but in person they were utterly drab. Additionally the online photos show the colors as all neutral shades of brown, grey, amber and black. In person there was plum and a teal-ish green among the stripes. The overall quality was also rather low- the undersides of the seats were unfinished, with staple heads and threads showing. I knew I was taking a chance- the price seemed too good to be true, and as it turned out it was.

We were looking for side chairs for our entry way to double as extra dining chairs if we need them. The color of the chairs is exactly what you see online. They are also very comfortable. We are very pleased with the chairs and highly recommend.

These are very nice! The color is great, they are very sturdy and comfortable. The only negative I could find is that, once they are together, some of the legs are not the same length, so when I put on the sliders (self purchase) I have to adjust them. I bought 6 chairs and 4 are good, 2 are off by enough that I have to 'work' with them... but it wasn't a lot of trouble, nor impossible. Overall Fabulous! Very Sturdy! Very Comfortable! Very Attractive!

I needed to replace some of my dining room chairs, so I ordered four chairs. I was able to put them together-with no help! The striped tones give a nice "pick-me up" to my dining room. I had company the other night and a rather large man (250 lbs.) sat on the chair for a few hours and no problems! It was a great purchase for a great price!

The worst product I've ever bought. The assembly was a nightmare. Impossible to screw the legs unless you tear the fabric apart because it was covering the holes. Poor quality: the stripes did not match (the first indicator of sloppiness); the fabric was stapled to the base - horrible! The wood was showing and it was the poorest quality of wood. The worst thing was - one of the legs was an inch shorter!!! And it wasn't even the leg that was a problem, it was the hole in the base that was not drilled in the right place. Also, when we tried to sit on it - they would sink so we could almost feel the wooden base - you could tell in a month they would sink in completely and you would be sitting on a piece of wood. Had to return and shipping it back was not easy. Stay away if you want a quality chair.

Have purchased four of these chairs and will order two more. Purchased to go with a home made Farmhouse Table and worked out perfectly. Everybody loves the combination. Many friends have commented on the table and chairs.

Read all reviews prior to purchase. Color was as stated and shown. Slight problem in beginning with putting together, but if you cleaned out the holes provided for the bolts, etc., there was no problem. Did need to follow instructions and not tighten everything right away. Keep bolts loose until fully assembled, then adjust on level floor and tighten. No problem at all. Seats much more comfortable than expected. Very sturdy.

I have only had the chairs a few weeks but so far they are great. They are very comfortable and light. My son assembled them and it took less than an hour to do so. Everything he needed was included in the package.

The quality was not great. The legs are all different lengths and the chairs are not stable. We had to add material to the bottoms of 2 legs, diagonal from each other, in order to make them stable enough to sit on. This material is somewhat noticeable and is not an ideal situation.

We bought these chairs for our church narthex. They are very nice and after about a month are holding up great. They are very classy and formal looking with a modern edge. We have heard positive feedback. They sit comfortably and do not take up a large amount of space.

Easy to assemble, sturdy, and more comfortable than I imagined. I bought them for chairs in an office (interview chairs). It is true what another reviewer said that the underside of the chair tells the story of how inexpensive they are, but the parts you'd see - fabric, legs - are quite nice. Great price. I recommend.

We bought 4 of these to go around our new reclaimed pine dining room table, and thought the colors and pattern would compliment it well. Once they arrived, I realized quickly that these chairs were well made at all. First, the assembly is a pain having to use a tiny hex wrench while praying that the holes lined up with the hardware... takes a while to put each chair together. After taking over an hour to finally assemble and tighten everything... I had the joy of testing each chair out on our hardwood floors. All four were wobbly and each had a leg or two that were not the correct size. Then I had the fun task of breaking each chair down and putting it back into their boxes. We've used this site for other purchases, but for having to go through all of that for nothing was very disappointing. Stay clear from these chairs.

Loved the colors and the the chairs were pretty easy to put together. But one of the legs on one chair was about 1/2 inch too short, which is pretty significant.

Chairs needed to be assembled, stripes on back of chair were not alligned with stripes on seat of chair. Once assemled, 2 of the 4 I bought, had legs that were not the same length so the chairs wobbled.

The back of the chair isn't filled that well, so it feels hollow, but that's it. Overall it's a great chair. I got two as accents for the heads of my dining table and they look great. There are so many colors so it's easy to pick up one of the stripes to coordinate the rest of the chairs. I think doing an entire set of these would be too busy. I ended up getting a deep purple for the other chairs and it looks awesome!

The chairs arrived a couple of dates after the original estimate, but it wasn't a problem for me. The fabric looks and feels great and the print is a beautiful we hoped for. They were hard to put together. In particular, out of about 10 screws, 4 were very hard. I didn't see a reason for them to be so hard to set other than a production/design flaw. Once assembled the chairs are sturdy and look great. They are a great value, which is what I rated them excellent, but I can see how some would not be able to assemble them.
