This latex mattress topper gave new life to our 20 year old mattress. It is extremely comfortable and well worth the price. We had absolutely no problem with odor and there were no seams in the latex. We feel as if we've gotten a brand new bed.
'Spent weeks looking at and trying out mattresses. Research seemed to indicate that latex was best. We were frustrated to have to buy a new mattress when ours (innerspring and visco) was only 2 years old and expensive! We thought we'd experiment with a latex topper. OMG! So happy we went this route. This is a great buy. Excellent product...no need for us to buy a whole new mattress...this works superbly!
Other reviewers seem to love this topper, but I found it way too hard. It actually seemed to make my too firm mattress even firmer. Ouch. Also, it seemed huge for a two inch thickness - barely fit under my reasonably deep-pocketed sheets.Compared to other latex toppers, the price is really great. If you like this sort of thing, you'll like this topper - I guess I just don't like this sort of thing.
We recently bought two E.C.O latex mattress toppers for our beds (one queen, one double). There was absolutely NO SMELL right out of the package. We also bought zippered covers for both of them, which I totally recommend. Unzip the cover, put it on the bed, place the topper on the cover, and zip it up. I then put a fitted mattress pad over all and we've never had a problem with slippage - or smell. It's changed our lives. We can't wait for bedtime! Not only did we save SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS on two new bed sets, but we are sleeping better than ever. No morning aches, no waking in the middle of the night, no pain. YOU WON'T BE SORRY - YOU'LL BE AMAZED.
