I got this vacuum because we have two dogs and a shag rug that sheds just like the dogs. We had hair everywhere. In 5 minutes I can now vac up all the hair and misc on the hard wood floors and on the area carpet. It is light, easy to use and just perfect. Without a cord you can just grab and go anywhere with it quickly. Very powerful and picks up everything. I can't think of any reason not to get his vac.

i love this little vacuum! i live in a very small apartment with wood, carpet and tile floors. this dyson works so well on every surface, is so compact and extremely easy to use. i love the attachments and the variety of uses. it can act like a dustbuster in one room and cleans my carpet just as well as my last big and bulky cleaner.

We love this vacuum cleaner. We do not have the space for a huge and heavy Dyson machine, but this vacuum cleaner does the job and it's very light and easy to store. My only complaint is that the battery runs out pretty fast so we need to charge it every time we use it. Other than that it has fulfill my expectations and we are happy with this purchase.

This Dyson is not intended to replace a full size vacuum. It has a maximum run time of 15 minutes which is adequate. The best part of the design is how easy it gets into small awkward places. The amount of dog hair and dirt in the easy to empty canister is proof that it does the job.

I love the ease of use and convenience of this vacuum. It could be a little more powerful but no hand held is and I just love not having to plug it in and unplug it every time I change rooms. I find myself carrying it around cleaning things I usually neglect...awesome!

This is a great vacuum but would be better with a longer battery life. It only lasts about 15 minutes, and takes more than 3 hours to charge. While it is operating, it works great and gets into tight spots easily. It is also handy for cleaning up ceiling cobwebs and stairs. I think it will also be perfect for cleaning cars - much easier than lugging the shop-vac up from the basement. It's good for quick cleaning, detail cleaning, is light, and unobtrusive to store. The only downsides are the battery and a small floor head.

This cordless vacuum is a fantastic replacement for a corded heavy duty vacuum especially for ceramic/wood flooring. The rotating brush head gets easily entangled with long hair which is easy to clean. However, since I don't do carpet, I've removed the rotating brush and done away with the hassle of having to keep the brush clean. Our Doberman and ladies of the house sure drop a lot of hair. This vacuum makes it a simple chore keeping the floors dust free and clean. What's even better is that you get to see how much 'dirt' is being picked up in the see through canister. It is super easy to empty the canister too. Liked it so much that I gave my older unit to my college kid and bought another to replace. Battery life is more than sufficient to vacuum approximately 1000 sq foot of flooring without issue. The wall mounted charging station keeps things tidy.

I've been waiting for almost two years for the prices in the stores for this product to go down. Instead, they kept going up. I finally broke down and bought one here. I use it daily. Yes, the charge only lasts about 15 minutes...but I have a 1500 sq foot house, so it doesn't take long for me to vacuum. I also have a German Shepherd. This vacuum actually does an awesome job picking up his hair. I was surprised by that. No bags and easy empty container is also cool. I read the complaints about the trigger. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about it. But after using it, I understand why they did this. It actually saves battery power when you stop to move things out of the way. Not a bad feature really. I thought the vacuum head was a little small at first, but then I realized it makes it easier to get to the tighter places. I wish I had purchased this years ago instead of wasting money trying to find the right cordless vacuum for my needs.

Love this product! One of the best purchases on O.co. I came today to my fiance vacuuming the house because he loves using it. Totally happy.

I was hesitant due to the cost. Also, I wasn't sure the power would be enough to vacuum floors. It really works for cleanups. I have mostly wooden floors, some tile, area rugs and only one room that is fully carpeted. For me, it really works as well as I had hoped. Easy to use and it picks ups the things I track in from the garage and outside. I have a cat and it does a good job of picking up the fur. I had an issue with the cleaning head, the strip of red material that slides on smooth surfaces, came off. I called Dyson and they shipped me a complete new cleaning head. Things that need to be improved are: the trigger is uncomfortable to use and when the battery is low on power it completely stops. There is no gradual loss of power like most battery powered tools, this unit just stops without any warning. When that first happened I thought it broke. To sum it up I'm glad I ordered it and I'm glad I saved some money bu ordering a reconditioned unit that was like new.

I love this thing and use it several times a day to clean up after my twins. I mainly use it on a laminate floor but carpet as well. Mainly to easily clean the carpet stairs. It is so easy to use and carry around!

I like this product very much. It has great suction but where it falls short is battery life. If you have a very small space or work quickly it's fine. It's great if you use it on a constant basis to keep things clean but if you intend to clean for any amount of time the battery will go dead and need to recharge. I've been draining the battery completely before I recharge but it so far has not increased how long a charge will last. My condo is small and this product makes it easy to maintain. So I would recommend to someone who has a smaller apartment or condo but probably not great for even a small house. On average at full power battery lasts about 20 minutes.

I have 3 dogs and mostly hardwood and tile floors, only one small area rug. I go through at least 3 stick vacs a year, so I thought I'd try something a little better. I have a 2 bedroom house and the vac lasts long enough for me to do the entire house, if I hurry a little, or leave out one room. It's really not so good on the rug though, you have to work at it and my rug is very thin. Overall, its a good product for the other floors, does a great job. Holding in the trigger so it will run is really not such a big deal, as others have complained about, and I have carpal tunnel. Try holding it with your middle finger if you get tired. I should use everyday, but only about 5 times a week as I get tired of vacuuming!
