I have three golden retrievers and a houseful of fur!! This vacuum takes care of that fur whether on a hard-surface floor or carpet. I've tried so many other vacs (especially for my carpets) and THIS one does the trick. This is the third dyson I have purchased - because I love the quality. So much so, that one of them I bought for my sister (the other I keep in my vacation home - yes, I vacuum on vacation, too!). The only thing I wish were a bit better on this model is the dusting brush attachment. The other minor thing I would change is that the dirt canister could be a little larger - my furry friends seem to fill it up quickly!!!! I would recommend this vac to anyone - especially if you have dogs and cats!

I was a little hesitant to purchase a refurbished vacuum, but after reading the good reviews here and elsewhere, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. My vacuum looks like brand new. It has no visible defects and it works perfectly. It was gross, but I filled up one canister in one room only, with all of the dog fur and dirt my old Hoover left behind. The carpets feel and look cleaner and softer. This Dyson is easy to use and maneuver, especially around corners. I highly recommend the DC25 to pet owners, especially those with allergies.

This vacuum is amazing! We have mostly wood floors with some rugs and used our old vacuum first followed by the Dyson-I can't believe how much we were missing. The Dyson picks up so much more and even picks up tiny dust particles saving me from having to dust mop after vacuuming like I was having to do before! If you have pets you will want this vacuum! The wand attachment is great-alittle awkward to use initially, but got the hang of it after a few uses. The manuverability of this vacuum is leaps and bounds above a regular vacuum-it easily gets under counters and chairs and around furniture saving time and energy. It is expensive, but worth it-you will never want another vacuum again!!

It is the best vacuum for pet hair, dust bunnies and basically any debris. It is easy to handle and turns on a dime. Great suction and easy dumping. I recommend buying quality in a vacuum, its the air you breath in your home.

This is the best Vacuum we have ever used. When we first got this we were really excited about how much more efficient it would be so we tried it on our master bedroom floor. Before using it, we vacuumed our bedroom floor with our old vacuum and it seemed to do a good job. We then used the Dyson DC25 on the same floor. It was so efficient that we had to empty the vacuum twice. It was shocking how much was left on the floor after it seemed clean. We have had this vacuum for over a year now - and it continues to perform like a champ. The best part is that we know the carpet is clean when we are done. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone - it is the best quality and most efficient that I have every used.

This vacuum sweeper is amazing. It is very lightweight and extremely effective in sucking up dust and animal hair. It is a tad pricey but I think it will be worth the investment. I am pretty sure my old sweeper only sucked up about 20% of what the Dyson gets. I highly recommend this product. Overstock did a great job shipping this to me very promptly.

Seriously I thought a vacuum would never be worth $400-$500. However, this vacuum is really fantastic. I works on both my hard floors and carpet. It is so lightweight and smaller that I was expecting, but it has so much power. It's compact size makes is so easy to maneuver in spots I was never able to reach before. Once I got used to the ball, I was zinging around my whole house. Plus I love how the bin is easy to extract and then dispose the dirt. All of the other vacuums I've had, you had to turn over the bin and the dirt would fly out everywhere and get all over my hands, but not with this one because it dumps from the bottom. Anyway, love, love, love this vacuum!

Easy to use and powerful. Moves over the carpet much easier than the Hoover we had. Gets into more spaces easily and is especially good on edges and corners. Gets up lots of pet hair. Attachments are easy to use.

This vacuum is phenomenal, and I'm not one to get excited by a vacuum. Picks up everything on hardwoods, carpet, even linoleum. Great for cleaning up after our two very hairy cats. The only complaints are that we had an Oreck before, and that was extremely light, where the Dyson is heavier; and the "ball" rotation takes a bit of getting used to if you've only owned a traditional vac before.

Pet hair is no longer a problem in my house. DC25 is light, powerful, easy to manuver and quiet. Yes Dysons are exspensive but, I can now lay on my carpets with no worries of pet hair on my clothing.... payment enough.

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday, she said she was trying to decide between a Dyson and a new boyfriend for her birthday, She decided the Dyson was what she really wanted.

Love...............this vacuum cleaner.. The only thing that it is heavy and awkward when you are doing the stairs.

It was actually kinda fun 'clicking' the vacuum parts together, and firing it up. GREAT vacuum! I went over an area rug with my old Hoover canister vac, basically until I thought it was clean. Then, I went over it with the Dyson ... WOW. It brought up 1/4 chamber of dust, dander and dog fur. I've got an Aussie Shepherd ... she sheds relentlessly. She's met her match in this Dyson! Worth the $!
