Best vacuum I've ever owned!!
I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of friends who own this vacuum before I was willing soooo much money on a vacuum cleaner. It seemed ridiculously expensive at first, but for all the vacuums I've owned that have broken it would probably add up to as much. I finally decided to take the plunge after adopting a dog and getting tired of my house being covered in dog hair and dog-hair tumbleweeds (my home is 75% hardwood floors) I received the Dyson and was surprised at how compact it was. It was sooo easy to put together! I used it right away to see what all the hype was about. It's so light-weight and there's no resistence so at first I thought it must not be sucking properly. Soon enough when the canister filled up I realized it WAS definitely working and learned how filthy my home really was!! You would have thought I'd never vacuumed before! I especially love how well the vacuum sucks hair up on the hardwood. Those of us with pets know how annoying it is to try and sweep or vacuum pet hair from solid flooring surfaces. The hair just "runs away" or gets stuck in the broom. The Dyson literally pulls the hair towards it and Voila! I actually enjoy vacuuming now!! It's fun to twist and swivel around furniture. The vacuum has a more compact head which is nice for fitting between the legs of chairs. I higly recommend this vacuum! Clean-up is a snap too! You just push a button on the canister, the bottom flips open and the dust and hair fall out freely into your trash can. Another surprising benefit was the attachments and the long arm handle attachment. This vacuum is like a transformer! The handle slides out and you flip it aound and attach a smaller brush-like nozzle. Now you can reach ceiling fans and it works great on blinds! The attachment head that looks like a mini vacuum head with a spinning roller with bristles is great too! It's great for vacuuming pet hair off furniture. Overall I LOVE my Dyson Animal! I feel soooo Euro using it! :)

Good Picker Upper
I enjoy using this vacuum very much. I have had Hoover products in the past but my last purchase was getting really heavy for me to maneuver. It was self propelled and I would imagine that accounted for it's weight. This vacuum is so light and very easy to use. So thankful I was able to purchase it with my Overstock.com credit card. I also liked the process of my purchase and they shipped my items very quickly and in excellent condition. Very happy camper.

Love this Vacuum
I was very excited to get my new Dyson Animal Vacuum cleaner. I have a large white dog who sheds a lot. This vacuum has done a great job of picking up the dog hair from my carpet and furniture!

DYSON is very light weight & moves extremely easy!
Just before my other vacuum died I had vacuumed and it was only 2 days later it had arrived. To my surprise son put it together before I got home and I RE-Vacuumed the same room I was totally AMAZED on HOW MUCH the other one missing the junk and left in the carpeting. It was discussing. The only thing is YOU must be vigil for loose carpet threads it will SUCK it right up before you know it. The vacuum will keep pulling it will be unraveling your carpet and leave a bald spot.

Dc24Animal
I love the Animal. It handles so easily. I also own the DC24 (yellow one) which is unstable when in upright position, and keeps falling over. This one is built different and is much more stable and does not fall over. I would highly recommend this vacuum it is wonderful and wait till you see what it picks up.

Finally a great vacuum
I'm so glad I purchased this vacuum and was amazed to see just how much my old vacuum had been leaving behind. I love the attachable tool and used it to clean the tops of my drapes, which I haven't been able to reach in the past. This vacuum is lightweight, easy to maneuver and does a thorough job.

Glad We Made the Investment
I've been eyeing a Dyson for years.... it's pricey but we finally made the jump and I'll never go back. Like others have said... I can't believe how much dirt this thing pulled up on first use. I can't believe how much dirt it picked up the second time I vacuumed and took each pass slower than the first time I vacuumed. It was GROSS!!! I have long hair and the Dyson picked it all up without issue so I am sure it will handle pet hair without an issue when we get one. The Dyson is light, compact, and stores easily. I love to vacuum now!!

Love this!
I love, love, love this vacuum. It sucks up dog hair like no other vacuum. It is a smaller size vacuum but it is so light weight and easy to maneuver. It even fits between the wall and the toilet when vacuuming the bathroom. I loose a lot of hair on the bathroom floor and this sucks it right up. I will only buy Dyson vacuums in the future, as they are the best out there and worth the money.
