Clogged
I was very excited about this purchase and had bought a refurbished vaccum from overstock in the past that I was very pleased with, but this time the vaccum had very poor suction from the main brush/area. The attatchment pieces worked well and cleaned well, but the main area would spit dirt back to the floor and seemed very clogged up like something was not right. After reading the other reviews I was so excited to recieve this and use it, but am now in the process of returning it. Not sure if I will buy another dyson or not.

So far so GREAT
Just received this refurbished Dyson DC 18 yesterday and immediately was blown away. It was packaged beautifully and very easy to put together. It arrived with all the original manuals as well as an additional 6-month warranty from Dyson. Starting the vaccum up is like starting a jet engine. It's so powerful I was worried it was going to suck up the stain off my hardwood floors. I mean seriously...it rocks. After using it for only 10 minutes I was struck by the amount of dust it was picking up in my apartment. For once I'm actually excited to vaccum and let me tell you it's the most satisfying thing to know that all that dirt and dust is trapped away and not going into my lungs. Maybe I need to get out more, but do yourself a favor and buy this vaccum if it meets your needs. You won't regret it.

It is the best vacuum I have ever owned
I love it! I like that I can use in on all of my floors, and see that the floors are clean. The power behind this vacuum is amazing! I only wish I had gotten a bigger one!

Greatest Vacuum
Received the Dyson Vacuum in 2 days.Shipping was fast.It vacuums better than any I have used.Had to empty the bag 3 times after vacuuming.It is easy to remove the canister and empty with one hand.

I love this vacuum
I own a clothing store and I bought this vacuum to clean my wall to wall rug. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't do the job, having purchased a vacuum from Sears just 2 years prior ( that's how long it lasted ) I thought it wouldn't do a very good job, but to my surprise it had great suction power. Having a lot of threads on the rug it picks them up with no problem. I love this vacuum and would recommend it to everyone. I also purchased a back pack vacuum for my house ( that's the way I got my husband to do the vacuuming) which I'm very happy with. Now when I need anything. I always go to Overstock before I visit any other site.

I wished it would have worked. I will still buy one with Overstock because customer service has been so good to work with and will be send me another one when in stock.

Powerful Sweeper
I'm very happy with my Dyson. It picks up better than any sweeper I've ever had. I loved the way it so easily snapped together. I had it put together and working in moments. It's easy to empty and lightweight. I would recommend this purchase to anyone.
