In all reality, this has got to be the best vacuum ever!! Do not hesitate to buy at such a wonderful price. As far as being refurbished, you would never know. I have hardwood and ceramic tile. It just glides, and cleans like a dream. I have a cat and two long haired dogs. GOODBYE hair! Seriously. It's a breeze to put together and a breeze to empty. The extending wand works just great. As far as bad reviews, I really do not know where these people get their ideas from. You can see all the crud going into the bin. Floors feel squeaky clean. Wish I would of bought along time ago. Really can't say enough about it. I'm one satisfied customer.
We been planning on buying a dyson for awhile now as I have had allergy/asthma issues with our old Vacuum. As soon as the old vacuum was turned on and running I almost instantly would get an attack from dust and allergens thrown into the air. With the dyson, I have had no problems whatsoever. I definately recommend it!!!
They where one or two little nicks on the hose attachement.Other than that, it looked and acted like a brand new machine...but for a fraction of the cost.All the hype is true, it will pick up a TON of stuff in your carpet. Well worth the investment!
I just received my dyson today and I got to work the minute UPS dropped it off. I went to work on my 8 x 10 carpet and the dirt this machine picked up blew me away. The canister was 1/3 full just from an 8 x 10 rug!!!!! I could not believe it. My other machine clearly was not doing a very good job! I did my entire house without having to unplug once which I also liked very much. It did a great job on the floors as well. I can walk in the kitchen now without shoes on and not feel any dirt under my feet. I look forward to using this machine for a very long time.
I am a bit of a neat freak and I vacuum alot...this is the best vacuum I have ever had. I was happy with my central vac but when the replacement hoses and broken carpet attachment were more than I cared to spend I remembered a friend of mine bought a refurbished Dyson from Overstock. So...I decided on the allergy & asthma model (I have both) and I am so glad I did. The vaccum arrived quickly and looks brand new. Did I mention this is THE BEST VACUUM I've ever used? I vacuum all the time and I could not believe the amount of nasty stuff this vacuum picked up. I will never buy anything but a Dyson. Go ahead, you won't be sorry.Not sure about the durability yet so I only gave 4 stars, hopefully it will live up to its reputation and will last a long time. The guy says "it won't lose suction" so I'm hoping this is my last vacuum for quite some time.
