Dyson DC16 Root 6 Pink Handheld Vacuum Cleaner (New)

We've been toying with purchasing this and we're glad we did. Despite it's odd look, it works like a charm. We like that it holds a decent charge and the three year factory warranty is a great sanity saver.

I just received my pink Root 6 handheld yesterday and couldn't wait to get it charged and start using it. I was surprised to see how much quieter it was than my old corded Europro shark handheld. And it was more powerful - at least the suction was stronger. As for the 6-8mins use time with each full charge, I found it was more than enough. This handheld is just for dry spills and cleaning small spaces like closets and bathrooms. It works perfectly when used for it's purpose. I still prefer using my turbine tool with my DC25 Animal or Healthyhome floor model to vacuum my car and clean furniture fabrics.

The Dyson Handheld is pretty much what you would expect from Dyson - simply the best of all vacuums. This one is really handy for quick clean ups and it works really well. I use it mainly for cleaning up cat and dog hair on hardwood floors. My only complaint is that the full battery charge only lasts 6 minutes, so you have to work fast...very fast.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife....and she loves it, especially as its a Dyson, and pink.Its mainly used for two things, cleaning the stairs and the baby's high chair (& floor below) & those are easily completed in the 6 minute charge time.6 minutes is actually a long time for a hand held. Its long enough to vacuum everything we can think of...messes, furniture, curtains. Anything expected to take more than 3 or 4 minutes would justify using the upright anyway.This isn't really a criticism but it is so powerful that it sucks up the fabric in the high chair rather than just the crumbs.Its also smaller & lighter than I was expecting, which is a good thing.
