      I just love this vacuum!!!! Lightweight and easy to handle, especially for someone with little strength in their hands. With 3 dogs it does a tremendous job of picking up dog hair that you don't even know is around. Super terrific on carpeting and love the way I am able to use it on my tiled areas as well. Great product at a super great price.

    • Its a nice vacuum but way not worth the money

      Although it does handle nicely it is a lot heavier than I though it would be and the maneuvering of the vacuum is done with your wrist. My wrist is not very strong and I have had some damage to it, so it can be quite painful trying to push this heavy vacuum around. It makes a very high pitch noise that is uncomfortable to my ears and last but not least it losses suction when I pull it back towards me. Now for a vacuum that is this expensive and the loss of suction is the major selling point I think that is a major FAIL. Oh, I for got the extension will not reach up my stairs and the machine is to large and heavy to set on one of the steps to get to the top. I still like it and use but it is not nearly as great as the price and advertisements would lead you to believe.

      i love this vacuum cleaner! i cannot tell its refurbished in any way. it rolls perfectly and has amazing suction! it works better on carpet than hardwood. and the attachments are not as great as the standard on floor vacuuming. love it...makes vacuuming a pleasure.

      I received my Dyson Ball about a month ago. Refurbished but looked new and untouched... couldn't even find any dust in the canister. It has made a huge difference in my house. I live in a "cozy" house with a lot of furniture for the space and a toddler who keeps the house disheveled no matter how much time i spend picking up after him. The Dyson Ball makes it easy to vacuum around furniture (and moving kids) without having to stop every 3 seconds to pick up or move something out of the way. Took me a few times to break out of the normal "push straight, back up, push straight in another direction" habit. Now I just snake around corners and tight spaces twisting the handle to turn. The ball allows for more continuous forward motion meaning less sore shoulder and stiff neck for me- hooray! Very powerful suction- i only need to go over an area once. Somehow my floors seem to look cleaner for longer. Works great on hardwoods and carpeting, no adjusting needed to go between the two. Attachments work well for stairs, ceiling cobwebs and even picking up dirt off a pile of papers (bad kitty). A little heavy, so maybe not the best for lifting up and down stairs a lot. Easy and clean to dump canister- WAY easier than my previous bagless contraption! I'm tired of vacuums peetering out after a year or two. I tried my friend's 4 year old Dyson... seems to feel and work just like my "new" one. Quality over quantity! Would recommend highly to anyone who wants to enjoy cleaning!

    • Good Buy

      I purchased this refurb unit and was pleased with the appearance and condition when it arrived. I pulled it out and it performed excellent out of the box. I was concerned however that after 15 minutes of use one of the end cap assembly units broke. I called Dyson and they sent me a replacement part no questions asked however make sure you register your product. So overall the product value and appearance is 5 stars. Hopefully the durability will increase with no other issues. Dyson customer service was awesome.

    • ease of operation

      I am absolutely delighted with my purchase of the dyson vacuum cleaner. Easy to use,very manueverable. Also easy to empty, and picks up cat hair well.I paricularlyy like not having to adjust for surfaces to be cleaned. I would not hesitate to advise someone to purchase this machine.I find the noise level of the machine quite tolerable.
