This refurbished vacuum works well but I can tell which part was the one that qualified for the 'refurbished' status. I have to pay attention while vacuuming on carpet , due to the fact that the refurbished part has to be the dial that keeps the beater bar on. Overall the DC14 is good but I don't know if the savings were worth the extra effort to make sure the beater bar is on.
I have a Dyson DC17 and I love it. I got this one for my daughter's house. The price is very good and delivery is promp. The product looks almost like brand new. We have not had it long to tell the durability. So far it does good job other than it is a little bit heavy. Thank you Overstock!
This vacuum works better than I thought, I was deciding between the animal hair version and this one because I have a cat with endless amounts of fur. I ended up going with this one because of the price, and was not disappointed at all. this thing picks up everything and with the nifty tools that come with it makes it work even better in spots that are hard to vacuum. I am glad I bought it. ---Also I can't even tell at all that it was refurbished, great product!
