So far so good. I've had this vac for a few weeks now & it's incredibly strong. It doesn't miss a thing. It actually leaves the floors looking new. Even does a great job on hard flooring surfaces like tile. I have no complaints. The dirt storage container is even cool. You disconnect it hold it over the trash can & push a button & th dirt drops out. My old vac I had to turn it upside down, bang it, sometimes reach in & pull dirt out.... Plus this came with a bunch of great attachments. If you have pets but it, it's worth the investment.

We bought this vacum about 4 months ago. I don't know how I ever lived without it. Does the best job on carpets and just as great on all hard floors. It is light weight and easy to handle. Picks up those little animal hairs quite well. I so appreciate how easy it is to empty. The wand for the attatchments can be turned around for a longer reach. I say buy it and enjoy the job of vacuming.

After pouring over hundreds of reviews for different vacuums, I decided to order the Dyson Animal and let me tell you.....I am extremely impressed.....ok, I've become obsessed with this machine! I am not someone who 'loves' to vacuum, but I have become totally obsessed with vacuuming!!!! Maybe because my previous machines didn't do much. This machine is absolutely amazing! I can't believe how much dust and cat hair it pulled up in such a small area the first time I used it! It's actually disgusting how much my old Dirt Devil was NOT getting! And, though this was sold as a 'refurbished' machine, I believe it is brand new......maybe someone bought it and returned it because there is absolutely no evidence that it was ever used! Also came with 6 different attachments, 3 of which are on-board. I'm still figuring out how to use the rest of them! Also came with spot cleaner and another new obsession.....Zorb! This absorbent powder (which smells fantastic), has virtually completely removed any stains I had on my much hated berber carpet!Vacuuming has never been so exciting......I know that sounds corny......but seriously, from someone who found vacuuming a really tedious chore.....I am telling you just buy it! I've become a vacuuming maniac....that is saying alot.....I am very hard to please! :) I keep looking for things to vacuum because it's actually alot of fun, seeing how much stuff this thing picks up! And it's purple!! My favorite color!
I should have ordered this sooner!! I was a little worried about it being refurbished, but it came brand new! I had vacuumed right before it came and couldn't believe what the Dyson picked up right after!!! Overstock shipped it fast and I would definitely order from them again! Living with an english bulldog I will never live without a Dyson again :)!!!!!!!!!!!
This Dyson is worth its weight in gold! We have three cats and a dog, and it is the only vacuum I have ever owned that can handle all that fur!! I absolutely love this vacuum - it is definitely worth the money. We bought ours about six months ago, and it is still working great!
