So far so good. I've had this vac for a few weeks now & it's incredibly strong. It doesn't miss a thing. It actually leaves the floors looking new. Even does a great job on hard flooring surfaces like tile. I have no complaints. The dirt storage container is even cool. You disconnect it hold it over the trash can & push a button & th dirt drops out. My old vac I had to turn it upside down, bang it, sometimes reach in & pull dirt out.... Plus this came with a bunch of great attachments. If you have pets but it, it's worth the investment.

We bought this vacum about 4 months ago. I don't know how I ever lived without it. Does the best job on carpets and just as great on all hard floors. It is light weight and easy to handle. Picks up those little animal hairs quite well. I so appreciate how easy it is to empty. The wand for the attatchments can be turned around for a longer reach. I say buy it and enjoy the job of vacuming.

We had heard great things about the Dyson Animal, and ordered a refurbished one (that we could afford) and decided to see what all the fuss was about. My husband and I were so excited that we took turns vacumming and watching the amount of hair that got sucked up into the canister on each floor! I actually look forward to vacuuming each time now to see how much hair the dogs actually leave each day :-) Awesome deal on a perfect machine!
We had been told by other people that Dyson vacuums were excellent. We read that the DC14 Animal Upright Vacuum was the best vacuum to have if you have a multi-pet household. We thought we would give it a try since our old vacuum needed repair. We were amazed with the cleaning ability of this vacuum. It is very lightweight, quieter than our other vacuum, has a convenient, long cord, and very simple to empty when the container is full. No more struggling with bags. I love it.
Received mine yesterday, UPS comes late was in no mood to vacuum that time of the evening decided to try first thing this AM. I went over the carpeting with my old vac a Sebo which we've had for years, was very expensive at the time of purchase was told was one of the best on the market. WRONG!!!! I went over the carpet with the Dyson and all I can say is WOW!!!!! It is just amazing what this thing has done for the entire carpeting. I was amazed at the amount of pet hair and Lord knows what else it picked up. Even though was a refurbished item I would highly recommend to anyone who asks, and assure them that refurb is just as wonderful as new.
