I waited a very long time to get a dyson. I must say I'm very disappointed. I find the hose is very very awkward. You can't just add the wand like a normal vacuum. It extends from the hose and is stiff and difficult to use. I bought a Eureka for upstairs and I like it better and it cost a third that the dyson did.

We purchased our Dyson after our old vacuum cleaner " bit the dust". It was the best purchase we could have made. Being a 40 y/o guy I would never thought I would actually get excited to vacuum. You can see the dirt, the power is incredible, and our house feels cleaner !! I would recommend anyone to go to Overstock to get a great deal on a great product. The Dyson is hands down a great vacuum cleaner !!

I bought the Dyson DC07 few weeks ago. This is the best vacum cleaner I have ever had. I have 3 cats and cleaning was always a nigthmare. Now it is fast, precise and pleasant. Thank you very much!

I am not the review leaving type - but I really like Overstock and I really like this vacuum. This is the Dyson DC07 Animal. It is model that is no longer available on the Dyson website or in stores because i believe it is discontinued. However it is still eligible for a waranty and it is one HECK of a vacuum cleaner. The Overstock price was the lowest ANYWWHERE (and they were running a promotion for an additional 10%). This was quite a deal for an incredible vacuum cleaner. The vacuum is pretty miraculous and similar to the other reviews - it put our other vacuum to shame. We have two large (and beautiful) golden retrievers and they like to be near us at all times. Hence they spend a lot of time in our bedroom. That was the first room I vacuumed - and after one pass the vacuum was FILLED with Dog Hair and Pet Dander. Pretty disgusting - but wonderful to know that it will no longer be in my bedroom! I too agree, I love the ease with which to empty the canister. It is a fantastic product at an unbeatable price. I would recommend to you, to my neighbors, and to my family. Good luck and happy vacuuming!

This is by far the best vacuum I have used over the past 20 years. It has great suction. It is very easy to use and dumping the canister is the best because you have no messy filters to deal with, just a push of a button to dump. The only draw backs are the on/off switch, it is in a spot on top that you can accidentally hit often. I am also not the biggest fan of the wand, it can be quite awkward to use in certain situations and some of the attachments don't fit on it tightly and fall off while using. It is perfect for going up stairs or for cleaning walls and cobwebs from the ceiling. Regardless of the few drawbacks I have recommended this vacuum to everyone I know, And at overstock it was a great price, at least $100 less then I found anywhere else.

Wow - I am totally in awe of the suction power of this vacuum. It cleaned dirt from carpet that I just had cleaned! After purchasing 3 vacuums in the last 5 years I'm hoping this is the last for many years to come!

I am relatively happy with this cleaner as I have a dog and 2 cats. I basically have hardwood floors with area rugs. It does a great job on carpets but normal on hardwood floors. My complaint would be the use of the attachments which makes me feel relatively incompetant. I wished the normal vacuum would go under furniture without the use of an attachment. I find the attachments cumbersome. Perhaps I just need more practice.

I would recommend this to everyone. I could not believe the amount of debree I got when sweeping and I have always been a neat FREAK. Great Job.

This vacume did exactly as it said and then some. It not only got long head hair from the carpet but with the wand attachment it was able to get up dog and cat hair from the couch, couch pillows, carpet corners and bedding. Wonderful! This is one vacume that I can actually say is good looking with function, a nice purple to help it stand out and a clear container so that you know when it needs cleaning which is also a snap. Nearly as fast as clicking your fingers and the best thing is no more bags! The slight downside however which is not really a down but more of a learning curve. The wand just a little different than others but very capable. It will just take some get used to.

I have used many vaccums over the past few years, and I have to say I love my Dyson. Different family members and friends have purchased a Dyson and have been very pleased so after my current vaccum broke I decided to splurge and get a Dyson. I shopped prices for a few weeks and found a great deal on overstock so decided to purchase one. I have heard about the suction on Dyson and have to say it is great! One thing that drives me crazy is when I would vaccum a bare floor and the crumbs, dirt or dog hair would blow away or shoot across the floor. Having to bend down and pick up the item would get so frustrating. The Dyson sucks up everything and no flying dog hair in the air. The other big plus is how it picks up along the baseboards...I will never go back to anything else.

I cannot honestly say enough about my new vacuum, wish I had invested years ago instead of wasting money on other types. Since I received it, I've vacumed more than ever before just because its actually fun!!! Call me crazy but its the truth! When I first got it, I wanted to vacuum with my old vacuum first then with this new one to see how much more it would pick up and I was amazed, alot more. Anyway, you won't go wrong buying one of these. The attachments were a little hard to figure out but after reading the book, it was easy to assemble. Thanks Dyson!!

I have been using a hand me down vacuum for 9 years now. We have a lab mix and a 4 year old, and things were not coming up off my carpet anymore. I knew my vacuum was bad, but there were so many other priorties in our house I did not make it to getting the new vacuum yet. Well, my second child will be here in a few months and I could not take it to think about a new baby having dog hair all over her from off the floor. I've been looking at this vacuum for 2 years now and Overstock had the right price. I love, love, love it!!! After my husband saw what it could do, he didn't care about the price! I hope everyone that buys this vacuum is as happy as I am!

I have 3 dogs and a cat, so you can imagine the amount of hair. The first time I used my dyson I had to clear out the canister twice! The only thing I don't like, but have since gotten over, is that you cant get under furniture without using an attachment. It just forces me to move stuff to get under it, which was needed anyway. I highly recommend this dyson!

This vac is so easy to use! I love it! I haven't had it long so I'm not sure on durability but it has a 5 year warrenty. I have piles of fur and now with once a week vacuuming it is under control. I love my animals but I also wanted a clean house and now I have it!

We have a construction office and go through vacuums about every 3 months. This has been a great vacuum. We used it after the old one and filled the container after half the office. Great product for the price.

We were amazed how much stuff this machine picked up when we started using it around the house. For some reason my husband, really loves it and he is vacuuming all the time with it. I'm SURE not complaining! The only reason I rated it 3 stars on Durability is because it's too soon to know how long/well it will hold up.

I love this vacuum! It does wonders on my carpet. My only complaint is that using the hose is a little cumbersome, but works well. Just point your vacuum wherever your reaching for. Very sturdy and moves easily. I couldn't believe how much hair it found. Scary! I love the trigger for dumping the dust bin into the trash. It's hassle free. Also it was EASY to assemble out of the box. Highly recommend this vacuum.
