I received my Dyson Ball about a month ago. Refurbished but looked new and untouched... couldn't even find any dust in the canister. It has made a huge difference in my house. I live in a "cozy" house with a lot of furniture for the space and a toddler who keeps the house disheveled no matter how much time i spend picking up after him. The Dyson Ball makes it easy to vacuum around furniture (and moving kids) without having to stop every 3 seconds to pick up or move something out of the way. Took me a few times to break out of the normal "push straight, back up, push straight in another direction" habit. Now I just snake around corners and tight spaces twisting the handle to turn. The ball allows for more continuous forward motion meaning less sore shoulder and stiff neck for me- hooray! Very powerful suction- i only need to go over an area once. Somehow my floors seem to look cleaner for longer. Works great on hardwoods and carpeting, no adjusting needed to go between the two. Attachments work well for stairs, ceiling cobwebs and even picking up dirt off a pile of papers (bad kitty). A little heavy, so maybe not the best for lifting up and down stairs a lot. Easy and clean to dump canister- WAY easier than my previous bagless contraption! I'm tired of vacuums peetering out after a year or two. I tried my friend's 4 year old Dyson... seems to feel and work just like my "new" one. Quality over quantity! Would recommend highly to anyone who wants to enjoy cleaning!

I purchased this refurb unit and was pleased with the appearance and condition when it arrived. I pulled it out and it performed excellent out of the box. I was concerned however that after 15 minutes of use one of the end cap assembly units broke. I called Dyson and they sent me a replacement part no questions asked however make sure you register your product. So overall the product value and appearance is 5 stars. Hopefully the durability will increase with no other issues. Dyson customer service was awesome.

I am absolutely delighted with my purchase of the dyson vacuum cleaner. Easy to use,very manueverable. Also easy to empty, and picks up cat hair well.I paricularlyy like not having to adjust for surfaces to be cleaned. I would not hesitate to advise someone to purchase this machine.I find the noise level of the machine quite tolerable.

Before I bought this vacuum, I tried my friend's five-year-old DC14. I was so impressed with hers (I have new carpet and easily filled her Dyson's canister three times with carpet fuzzies on roughly 1000sq ft of carpet) that I had to have my own. I bought the ball because of the cool factor and because the DC15 had overall good reviews and the features I wanted (aggressive beater brush, long cord, et cetera). The DC15 is easier to propel than the 14 because of the ball, but it doesn't "suck" any better. That said, the placement of the ball doesn't cause any loss of suction, either. I am very pleased with my Dyson and fully prepared to throw my extremely subpar Eureka from a moving train. I believe my Dyson was used at least once before it reached me (there was a little dust in the canister), but it was in fabulous condition and none of the attachments appeared to be used at all. I'm quite happy overall.

Do not hesitate to purchase a refurbished model. They are just as good as the new models, except you save a lot of money. The ball design takes a little getting use to, but it doesn't take long. It is funny to watch people who never used the ball design. They try to move it like a conventional vacuum and it doesn't work that way.

I have a brick floor and this vacuum works excellent along the somewhat uneven surface of the floor I have. It has great suction and works great along the wall. I have used all the attachements also and actually enjoy cleaning everything now :) It has a long cord and hose to literally clean every room without having to unplug and plug into different outlets all over the house. It's amazing how much more dirt gets sucked up with this vacuum than my old vacuum. I am loving it!

They told me it is refurbished. In all aspects, I must tell you "IT IS NEW". I am sure they are right, but, potential buyers, I hope yours arrives as "NEW" as mine. I have two of these cleaners, exactly the same. I bought one from Dyson and one from this site.......I use one downstairs and one up stairs. We have a large house and do not want to have to carry the cleaner up and down steps, as we are a little aging. The one I bought from Overstock.com is the same quality and looks NEW like the one from Dyson, AND for $230.00 savings. GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT PRICE. Super fast shipping. Has everything and does everything they promised. We have bought several items from Overstock.com over 4 years, and all are great. gj

Purchased refurbished but operates like new. Virtually no assembly. Ball feature makes it easy to manuever.The attachments that are included are not the best for carpeted stairs. I plan to buy the mini tubine for that.Keep brushbar clean by removing and cutting off hair. It is easy to do and improves performance.

Vacuums are way overpriced, but this one might be the closet thing to "worth it" that we've seen so far. It's really heavy, but luckily it's so maneuverable that I rarely have to lift it. It's very easy use all the components once you understand how the wand works, and it couldn't be easier to empty. Overall, we're very happy with it.

I love the new dyson because it truly does have manuverability. It is a little heavier than my last dyson. It action is amazing though, what you expect of a dyson.

I love this --I had 3 junky vaccumes all worth nothing-- the Dyson is excellent well thought out--obviously-- that is their ad. Two caviats it is a little heavy and might be a problem for an older person, sometimes it is stubborn going to the vacuume position. I havn't had it long enough to vouch for the durability--but the machine cleans the best, and worth every penny.

I can't say enough good things about this product. It is soooo easy to use and is everything I read about it and more. The quality of cleaning is outstanding! I had an electrolux canister before and thought I was doing a great job; was I wrong! I vacuumed right behind the electrolux and was amazed at how much dirt the Dyson picked up that the other vacuum left behind. I would strongly recommend a Dyson to anyone that cares about the appearance of their home. You won't be disappointed.

I just love this vacuum!!!! Lightweight and easy to handle, especially for someone with little strength in their hands. With 3 dogs it does a tremendous job of picking up dog hair that you don't even know is around. Super terrific on carpeting and love the way I am able to use it on my tiled areas as well. Great product at a super great price.

I have only had this vacuum for a week and it has blown me away. I had thought our old fantom thunder was good, but it can't hold a candle to the Dyson. Love the ball, maneuvers like a sports car and vacuums like a dream. My daughter has the Dyson Animal version and loves hers also.

My Dyson came very quickly. It had been used and still had some dust in the dust bucket, but works like a dream so far! Had it about 3 weeks.
