CAN YOU INSTALL THE BUTTON TO AN EXISTING GARBAGE DISPOSAL??
This is a great product to add to the kitchen, our disposal switch was on the left side wall behind some small appliances, every time my wife has to reach her hand out to the left side of the wall for turning on the garbage disposal. A lot of times she touch it with wet hand and left some marks on the wall after years. Last month we decided to remodel our kitchen and this was recommended by our contractor, so I went on line and bought it. After a week of using it my wife loves it and it's a very smart idea to use air instead of electricity to trigger the switch, it prevents both electric shock and water damage to the button. One thing before you are buying it, make sure you have a hole near the sink to install this. My contractor said for people who is not doing a new remodeling can install this on the hole where the dish washer air gap is. He said there is a converter to convert the dish washer air gap to connect to the disposal directly and leaving the hole for installing this or the water filtration faucet.
