This is an awesome rug pad at an awesome price! We purchased a more expensive rug pad from the rug store by our home for another room and it is not nearly as thick and plush as this one. This one also has great grippers that hold the rug in place on top and the pad in-place on the floor. Really a nice product and shipped super-fast. It came folder but is so thick and heavy the wrinkles came out in just a day ont he floor.
The pad is great--thick and sturdy & definitely helped our rug, however, it isn't 9x12--ours was more like 10.5 x 12, so we had to cut it down. No big deal, but it's something you need to know. We spent a lot of time measuring and cutting it to fit our rug, which is exactly 9x12.
WE HAD ORDERED AN AREA RUG PREVIOUSLY THAT WE LOVED BUT WERE UNABLE TO GET THE LUMPS AND WRINKLES OUT WHEN IT WAS PUT ON TOP OF OUR WALL TO WALL CARPETING. WE FINALLY ORDERED THIS CARPET PAD AND WERE AMAZED WITH THE RESULTS! IT TOOK SOME EFFORT TO POSITION THE RUG AND PAD, BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. OUR AREA RUG IS NOW SMOOTH AND BEAUTIFUL UNDER OUR DING ROOM TABLE.
