I chose to buy this particular pad because it was supposed to keep an area rug in place on a hard surface or carpet, and my area rug is on carpet. Even though I felt the price was on the high side, it would have been worth it had it worked the way it should. But now I regret buying it because the pad itself moves more than the rug ever did, so I'm constantly repositioning both rug & pad! It was not a good purchase for me.
