The carpet rug is thick enough to add a soft walking surface and yet, it doesn't buckle or make items on it "off balance" I love it , will buy another, and tell friends. The delivery of this item was so helpful. Right to the door, no trying to get it in my car.
Under the recommendation of the site, I purchased this pad to go with the rug I was buying.The pad was easy to work with (cut) had an excellent non slide backing and made the rug much thicker and softer to walk on.
