This is a great rug pad for someone who wants to make their rug feel softer and more plush under foot. It is also great for its other purpose of preventing slippage. I will buy it again next time I need one.

I ordered a number of these rug pads to go under the carpets ordered. As soon as they were unwrapped, they laid flat on the wood floor. I had to trim one to fit the rug and the rug pad was so tightly woven that it was not easy to cut through so i know that it will hold up for many years. It is non-slip and holds the rug in place. This rug pad gives the rug extra cushion to make it softer when walking on the rug.

I have had this for over a year and it's been holding up great. Very worth the cost to help make your rug more plush and keep the life of your rug. Highly recommend it.

My daughter sits in her and rocks in her rocking chair for hours. The noise transfer downstairs and can be very annoying. I ordered the padding to put under her oriental rug. The pad was of good quality and stopped the transfer of noise. Yeah! I would recommend this product for purchase.

This rug pad was worth the money. I wanted a nice THICK cushion feeling under a jute rug. This was it and the not slip rubber on the back is heavy duty. At the same time I was able to trim the parts that I needed. A little tough on the hand with the scissors after awhile but do-able.

It's a rug pad. It's fine. Not sure how it could be a problem.

I order a very large size 13' x 12 ' and a medium size that had 12" x 6 also, which covered all mats needed and they do the job splendidly. I used the 12 x 6 size for a runner 2"6" and the difference for a hall rug . We have all our floor rugs now padded for the new perque flooring just laid using the three pads I purchased from O/S and I"m completely satisfied with the product.

This pad is thick and durable: as-good or better quality than the pad I have under my wall-to-wall carpet. The non-skid coating on the bottom does its job well on both wood and tile floors. There was no odor to the pad (which is sometimes a problem with area rugs and silmilar items). I had an odd-shaped rug and needed to trim the rug-pad to size. This was easily accomplished with a decent pair of scissors. The pad significantly improved the cushion provided by the already-thick pile of the rug. The rug doesn't slip at all on top of the pad. In the past, I've used area rugs without a pad. They didn't last very long (the pile matted and flattened), and they were not very comfortable to walk on. I am confident that this pad is the solution to that problem, that it will increase the longevity of my new rugs - it certainly made them soft and cushiony! So pleased!

This is a great carpet pad and from what I recall, it was made in America. That is rare these days! We have it under and area rug in our dining room on a hard wood floor and it is working well for us.

Perfect for the quality wool rug I purchased from O.co. I have this under the rug that sets on hardwood floor. No slipping and rug is very soft and cushy to walk on. With this pad and thick rug my Roomba will not go onto rug from hardwood floor. Still very nice and so much nicer than what I could find in any stores near me.

Good value. Used with my otherwise hard jute rug, making it more pleasant. It did smell a little chemical-ish initially but that has since gone away without intervention.
