Great Bed if you don't have to move it
I bought this bed for my son's first apartment. It is great - is lightweight, easy to put together, has good room underneath, and works well with his 8" memory foam mattress. But - DO NOT move it once it is in place.. The legs collapse - the middle and end legs fold down in one direction and the legs on the other end collapse in the other direction.

Not Good!
I purchased this in a queen size for my 128lb son. He has been sleeping on it since 11/30. I just received a smaller version of it today and when I went to move his bed, I discovered that the entire frame on one side is all bent. The mattress on top of it is now sagging where the frame bent and now I have to buy a whole new complete bed and frame set. This frame absolutely cannot be used without a foundation . Do not think it can be used as a platform bed! Not durable or for long - term use! Maybe good enough for an occasional overnight guest only. An adult of less than 130 lbs should have been able to sleep on this in the way it was advertised without the frame bending the way it did!

Easy frame to use
I bought this frame to keep my memory foam mattress off the floor. It does the job, so I'm pretty happy with it. I like that it is easy to take a part and store if necessary. What I am slightly annoyed with, is that there's no guard for the mattress so it can move if I just push the mattress slightly. It slides from the frame. I can't move the frame and the mattress together! Or, if I'm sitting on the bed with my back against the wall, if I scoot forward with my body, sometimes the mattress slides forward, too. Other than that, this is a good frame for the price or good for someone who moves around a lot.

Legs don't stay upright.
As basic as they come, which wouldn't bother me if it hadn't have broken within 2 months of using it. The legs in the middle, where the platform hinges, do not stay upright. The plastic piece where the platform rests on the legs is tiny and flimsy, and split on both sides after a month or two. This means that if I move the bed at all (i.e. for cleaning, changing sheets, sex), the middle legs start to fold up and the bed goes down with it. Sometimes it just starts to sink under the weight of two adults without moving at all. I have to take the mattress off the bed and fix it by hand once every two weeks at least - it's pretty difficult to do this in my small bedroom with a heavy mattress.

Great Frame At A Great Price
The frame is very sturdy and easy to set up. It does make your bed much higher off the ground than standard frames but I like my bed high so it's better (it's now 29" from the floor). It was easy to put together, just align the screws and that's it, plus the fact that it's portable makes it easy to move from room to room or for an overall move to another location outside of the home. Gives you PLENTY of underbed storage space. Definitely a great bargain!

Great Buy
Our son bought this when he moved into an apartment with a mattress. This is perfect because he will be moving again and it is easy to transport, and you don't need both a frame and boxsprings, this works as both.

Good, functional bed frame
Practically no assembly is required, which is nice. The only thing is that it came with a few plastic 'clips' - I guess they were supposed to provide extra clamping action to hold the two sides of the bed together (it's two separate pieces), but they were all broken! There are screws though that hold the two sides together on either end and I haven't had any problems yet (been sleeping on it a few weeks now), so hopefully that will be alright. Besides that, it's a decent bed frame for a great price. Good underbed storage space and bed at a nice height- not too high or low.

Cheap quality; began bending as we put it together
Sadly, this is a cheap quality product with weak welding and low-grade metal. My boyfriend actually bent two of the legs when locking it in place, and the whole piece - even put together - did not seem trustworthy. We're not large people; he's 6'0" about 200 lbs and I'm 5'2" about 100 lbs., and neither of us wanted to lay down on it, feeling it might give out. Not to mention everyday sitting at the edge of the bed, putting on shoes, etc. I bought this for the height to store more underneath, but really - this is too high! We even had a mini/half-height box spring to compensate and both of us had to jump up into bed - it's weird, like we're 5. If you have a normal-height box spring and pillow top mattress, forget it. Also, the 'sitting on the edge of the bed' I mentioned earlier: it makes the mattress slide all over - namely, off the platform bedframe. There's nothing to secure the mattress in place; a serious design flaw. Even jumping up into bed, it slides. That would get annoying I imagine. Glad I returned it.

Bed Frame for Daughter's Small Apartment
See previous comment - we couldn't fit a 'real' bed in our daughter's apartment in the city so she had been sleeping on a full size mattress (on the floor) until we found this product. This was easy to bring to her (in my car), easy to carry up the narrow stairway to her apartment, and it was easy to just unfold and put together. It was much sturdier than we thought it would be - it's really perfect for what we needed. It also cost less than the other options we were looking at (even Wal-Mart).

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. My daughter now lives in a small apartment in Boston - so small we couldn't fit a 'real' bed in her bedroom. This was a perfect solution and it was much sturdier than we thought it might be. It was the perfect solution for our problem.

You get what you pay for
I still use it, even though the frame bent long ago. It's squeaky and has collapsed a few times - I'm cheap so I ended up reinforcing it with bungee cords and making do until I can afford a real bed or build one. The positive note is that I might be able to resell them as cot stands.
