This light fixture is very large. Be sure you have a good idea of the space it will use. I really love it. The amber shade creates a breath taking glow in the room. I have it on a dimmer and recomend you do the same. It was some what difficult to assemble. It takes 4 hands and some wireing skill. I believe it was worth it. Light fixtures should hang about 32" from your table top. This one maybe 6-10" higher depending on your ceiling height. It is pretty big! Botton line.....................buyit!!!!!
