Just as the previous reviewer said, the drawers stained my clothes! It must be some type of finish that they are putting on the bottom boards that is creating a yellow stain on all of my white clothes. I have yet to wash the clothes but will see if it comes off. Other than that, the dresser looks and feels nice.

I love this set, have the all the pieces that would fit in my room. Took me a while to put together. It does collect dust really fast. The style is is great. Like other lined the draws because will leave yellow markings on whites.

This is a solidly build quality piece of furniture. It's size is very imposing (check the measurements closely) in person so make sure you have the space for it. The drawers are all soft close so give it an extra push to close it flush but nice and quiet as to not wake up sleeping spouse or baby. The only criticism I have for this is the color. The pictured piece has a more yellow cast which was what I was looking for but in real life it resembles more like between cherry and expresso color. It is beautiful nevertheless so I am keeping it.

I now have the Aristo 4-drawer and 6-drawer chests and the nightstand as well. They all look great and really make my bedroom. I'm female and love them and the boyfriend gave the manly-stoic-nod-of-approval, so I assume they're almost? gender-neutral. Delivery was extremely fast and everything came without defects. Assembly was an interesting challenge but not impossible. I def recommend a powerdrill unless you really want an arm workout. If you have doubts as to whether or not you can do it alone, have no fear--I am a buck-twenty girl with ZERO experience with building anything and it turned out *mostly* okay! You will need a very short screwdriver to get the top camlocks, however. As for yellow stains, yes the drawers do stain. I laid down old dish towels in the drawers and voila, one year later, the towels are stained thoroughly yellow but the clothes are just fine. Oh yes, and best advice I can give is to build it where you intend to place it, because once assembled these pieces are pretty hefty.

Let me begin by saying, I absolutely LOVE this piece. I'm glad I got it. I bought the dresser drawer, two nightstands and this lingerie chest... My ONLY regret is that I did not know that the inside of the drawers would rub off and discolor my white garments. The good thing is that the stain (like a deep lime green color) washes off in the laundry. No bleaching and extra stain-removing needed. So, I got some clear contact paper and lined the bottom of the drawers. Worked like a charm.. until, I learned that the SIDES of the drawers were also rubbing off on the whites... AMAZING..!! I haven't had the energy to go in and cover the sides, right now, I'm just keeping the white clothes in the middle of the drawer. Strangely enough, the sides DO NOT rub off on the other colors, even light colors like pink or yellow... Go Figure...So, overall, love the piece, love the entire line of Aristo furniture, just know what you're getting into and factor in lining the drawers when you assemble. Unless and until Aristo does something about the bleeding...Hope this helps....

The cabinet I received is 27" high (not 32"), 23" wide (not 28") and 14" deep. The 14" part was correct, though overall it is the wrong size for my needs. The color is also more of a yellow brown tone, not the reddish brown color - though in all fairness, computer monitors may cause this. For the price, it's a good deal...Just much smaller than the stated dimensions, so it's not a fit for my needs. Fortunately, the Overstock customer service team was willing to help with the return of this item, including sending me another box to ship it back in. Great customer service...Thank you, Overstock!

I sooooo looked forward to this dresser!! It is beautiful indeed. It is as others have stated made of real solid wood (pretty heavy) and a classy, beautiful dark brown color. In fact...it matches furniture that I purchased from other very pricey retailers PERFECTLY!I had to have "one of the guys" put it together for me. It took him about 5 hours to assemble alone.BIG WATCH OUT!!! LINE THE DRAWERS!!! I have now had the dresser a few months...and I had some white shirts in the drawers and wherever they touched the drawer (bottom and on the sides)...it YELLOWED all of my white clothes. I am trying to bleach them now. Just line the drawers and you will be a very happy camper!!

I read the other reviews about complaints about the time it took to put together this dresser. But its no different than a dresser one might buy at the big blue/yellow store where you have to meticulously put together each piece. My sweetheart took his time to put it together and voila, a sturdy nicely made dresser that fits perfectly in the decor of my baby's room.

I bought this 6-drawer dresser one month ago, and I was very pleased with the assembly, delivery, and appearance...BUT...the inside of the drawers have stained all of my clothes! I had white and light colored clothing in the drawers for only this short time, and I noticed a couple of days ago that there is yellow stain from the bottom and sides of drawers rubbing off on all of my clothes! I have to wash all of my clothing now, and just hope that the furniture stain comes out...if not, then I guess this dresser was not worth the sacrifice of my entire wardrobe. Please be warned to use drawer liners before putting anything into these drawers!!!! Please do not make the same mistake that I did! If you are not willing to line the entire set of drawers (sides and bottom) then I would not recommend this dresser for you. I can only assume that the whole set of this Aristo furniture would be the same way.
