Nice item, most "hard" parts are rubber wood wich looks and feels great and is very solid and heavy. Draws (except the front plates facing out) are particle board and this leaves a little to be desired. The steel roller tracks are the typcial cheap ones found on partical bord units and could have been nicer, but for the price of this dresser I am very happy with the purchase.
I am really sorry I bought this product. I realized it was a cheap peice of furnature I would only need on a temporary baisis, but for the price I paid I really felt like I was robbed. I think it would have cost more to return it so I am just going to use it. My complaint is the quality of the material wich was used. It is partical board, and I knew this, but it is the worst quality I have ever seen. I think cardboard would more accuratly describe it. The wood split when I installed the screws and most of the screws would pull right out if you overtightened them. I chose this product specifically because it was narrow. I needed that where I wanted to put it, but don't plan on putting too much inside because you have to caddy corner your clothes so you can get the doors closed. I have 5 mens jackets and about a dozen dress shirts in the double door side and that is the max which will fit. I converted the single side door compartment to hold pants. The picture is wrong, ...
This dresser is a nice piece of furniture. I already own the other pieces of this bedroom set so I was happy to get this piece. The reason I rated it as good and not excellent was the fact that the drawers are small .
Long story short I will have to repair it (after 3 days of use) and give it away. This dresser is unbelievable. DO NOT BUY unless you seriously want to waste your money.
I read the description several times before I purchased, but I was still surprised at the high quality and the size of this item, It is a large piece of furniture. The quality is exemplified by the smooth finish and the strong doors and shelves. There is lots of room inside, and the two drawers are deep and very handy for storing misc. items (shoe trees, shoe inserts, shoe polish, remote controls, scissors, etc.). It took my nephew almost 2 hours to assemble by himself, and he is excellent at such things. The screws were provided in individual bubble packs, but were not labeled, so he first had to go through and match the screw packs to the appropriate piece of panel; there were approximately 10-12 packs of screws. This was very time consuming.
