A dresser is more than just a place to store your clothes; it's an integral part of your bedroom. From storage to style, the right dresser can really bring your bedroom together.
There are several different types of dressers. Most are a long, low design with four to six drawers, and some even include a matching mirror that can be affixed to the top. If you're looking to save floor space, you may want to consider an upright version, also known as a chest of drawers, which stacks several drawers, one on top of the other. For smaller spaces, there are styles available with two or three drawers to give you a little storage without taking up too much room.
When you're shopping for a new dresser, it's a good idea to find out the measurements of several dressers you're considering, and then measure out the space in your room where you'll be putting one. Make sure you have plenty of space to walk around it. Give yourself at least two feet between the corners of your dresser and the corners of your entry, bed, or other furniture you'll be walking between. Once you have your space mapped out, you'll be able to determine which dressers will fit and which will be too big (or adversely, which may end up looking too small for the space).
You want your bedroom to reflect your style, so choosing a dresser that fits your tastes is important. Many people choose to buy theirs as part of a bedroom set so everything coordinates, while others like to mix and match their bedroom furniture. No matter what style you choose, a great dresser will last you for years to come.

    Awesome chest and at a great price. I put it together myself in the course of 2 days by putting the cabinet together first and then assembling the drawers the day following. The cabinet took about 4 hours and the drawers took 2 hours. I am by no means and expert assembler and found that reading the instructions thoroughly and taking my time allowed me to get it done with very little frustration. Couple tips: take everything out of the boxes in your garage and walk the pieces into the room where you plan to place it. You won't have bits of stryofoam on your carpet and you can haul the parts yourself without having to rely on friends or family to move the boxes into the house; unless you want to torture yourself, use a power-screw driver to keep your assembly time to a minimum and to avoid blisters; use a large, winged paper-binder to hold the drawer sliders place while you drill them in; and use a level when putting the drawer tracks onto the cabinet so you are sure to have sm...

    I ordered this and the bello six drawer chest. My major complaint is that the color didnt match the picture. The chest I rcvd was a much darker, almost black, wood...not the warmer wood suggested by the picture. In addition, this is not "some assembly required"...this is "all asembly required"... the drawers, the front, the back, etc. This is very much like Ikea furniture that you need to assemble by hand. This project took me over 4 hours to assemble. The drawer sides split when I screwed the roller rails into them and some of the handle hardware was defective. Before you purchase, figure out the value of your time and then incorporate that into the price. But the chest looks nice and the exposed wood is hardwood, not laminate. Its just not the color in the picture.

The drawer sides split when I screwed the roller rails into them. Before you purchase, figure out the value of your time and then incorporate that into the price.     When it says "Some Assembly required" that means that you have to build this furniture yourself. In my case, I cannot do this so I had to pay someone else to do it. For the overall cost, I could have gone to a nice furniture store and had a chest that was ready to use for the same cost.

    I ordered 2 of these dressers for a long wall in my Master bedroom. I butted them right up next to each other as there is no overhang. I am very pleased with the quaility of these dressers. They are sturdy and do not look cheap. i am a very particular customer so this is saying alot! They look fantastic,very happy with this purchase! My husband and I assembled both dressers in about 3.5 hours.
