Ordered this because of the size. The price seemed very good considering the size of the unit and the fact that it was complete with glass/door and all fixtures. The unit arrived in about two weeks via FedEx ground in three large cartons. Much to my surprise nothing was damaged and every piece was there. Please be aware that this is not a simple install. I am a professional handyman with good plumbing and electrical skills and on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being most difficult, I would say this was an 8 or 9. Part of the issue is the cryptic directions with poor English translation. There are diagrams that help but also have a photograph available. The position of the electrical outlet and water supply are critical because there is only limited access. I initially installed the plumbing too far back towards the corner and had to relocate when I got the unit- I recommend waiting until you unpack the unit and set the pieces in place so you can see exactly where everything will go. Once I had the floor level and everything prepared, the installation went pretty quick. I did elect to replace the tubing for the two overheard outlets with steel braided tubing for longevity because I plan to close in the entire top of the unit. Make sure you check all plumbing connections- many are loose. I also pulled all nozzles and such off the shower panel and sealed them with silicone. I was surprised some did not have gaskets. I also put a separate switch in the access area to turn off the cheesy colored lights. I would say the quality of the unit compares to other plastic stall showers. With the door closed the only part of the stall you see is the perimeter. The glass is tinted a smoke gray which I didn't realize when ordering but it looks ok. The rain shower is fabulous as is the handheld shower. I think the body jets are kind of cheap but my wife uses them. The waterfall feature doesn't seem useful- it just dumps water on top of one of the seating areas and the foot massage is kind of a gimmick. Unfortunately there is a problem with the steam generator. I contacted the manufacturer and they have been VERY responsive. I sent back the generator unit and control box but it has been a comedy of errors with FedEx mishandling the shipment. The manufacturer has been communicating with me on a daily basis and agreed to send a brand unit if the original can not be repaired. Fortunately the shower works fine without the steam unit. Overall I am satisfied with the unit. I was looking for a large modular stall shower and that's what I got. The steam and other bells and whistles are just extra.Read More
