The bench is comfortable and attractive and made from nice quality materials. It was a bit challenging to put together. I knew not to tighten any of the bolts too much at first, but when I tightened some of the bolts, others would loosen up and come unseated. I finally realized that if I only tightened every one just to the point where they wouldn't unscrew, then carefully tightened each one a little at a time, I would overcome this problem. Oddly enough, I only had the problem on one side of the bench. The other side was completely easy to assemble. I weigh 115 pounds and the bench was easy to put together otherwise.

Like the bench. Comes with legs attached so all you need to do is attach the side pieces to the bottom. It is of nice quality. Only issue - it has a packing odor. I hope it will air out over time.

i bought a nearly-new one from craigslist and immediately started looking for another one. it's a solid piece with good construction. the cognac color is beautiful and much richer than it looks in this photo. we use it in our piano room for a place to sit, hang our legs over, read and chill. we love it!

We are new to Overstock and were amazed at what a beautiful piece this is. Exactly as described, good materials and workmanship. Quality. Really nice and at a fraction of what we saw similar or lesser pieces selling at at local stores. AND, it arrived incredibly fast - 2 or 3 days! It did take a little patience to assemble, as it was difficult to get the holes lines up properly, but once you had the trick, it was pretty easy. Very happy with this purchase.

This bench is nicer than the picture. It was easy for my husband to put together and the color is just like the photo. I really wanted a dark brown but this color really works in my living room.Love it !!!!

I think it's a good value for the price. It worked out well as temporary seating in the kids' playroom. As with most purchases, the color was the most difficult thing to judge from viewing the product on line. It met our expectations, and has held up very well over time in an active room.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Pretty close, it has a bit of an orange appearance to the red that's hard to pick up on the LCD screen.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. It's sturdy, and well assembled. It looks nice, but the leather isn't quite the same quality as a more expensive piece.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate.

I was actually surprised to see the actual bench as it looked better than the online photo. It works well in my dining room foyer. People compliment me on the bench, which seems to serve as a focal point. It was easy to put together and seating is comfortable. I love it!

OK, I guess technically it could be considered leather (in a courtroom perhaps) yet here in the real world, I feel somewhat deceived. It is that now ubiquitous "Bi-cast Leather" or "pleather" (part leather, part plastic) as we used to call it. I should have known that the price was far too low for a REAL leather bench. I take full responsibility for not being more diligent and simply trying to get a great price. I am once again reminded that you get what you pay for. The quality of the bench is otherwise quite good. I only wish that the description had been clearer. It is a sturdy little piece and does its job quite well at the foot of our bed. I was looking forward to a piece gracefully aging the way good leather does....this will not be the case... it will keep that shiny faux appearance until it's time to be handed off for a college dorm room or some other inconspicuous locale.

I love this bench. We were looking for extra seating, this fills the bill perfectly. I like it so much I went back and bought the chairs that match it. Love them too. Perfect for our limited space, but roomy. The only issue with the bench is the staples at the top of the leg are not hidden well enough, from certain angles. However, a touch up of marker and I beg someone to find them.

I am a really picky online shopper. For what it is, and for the price, this is a nice accent piece in my mission style home. I got it because the color matches my leather sofa almost perfectly. It doesn't look like polyester, even though it may be. People think it came as a set with the sofa. It took a good half hour to put together, but was pretty easy. It came well packed. Ok, it's not Ethan Allen, but if you want that quality for such a simple piece, you'll pay at least triple the price... so overall I'm happy.

For the $, this is a very nice looking leather bench, well made, easy to put together, and sturdy. I've found it to be a great place to recline while reading or watching TV.

I don't understand why reviewers say it is not leather. IT IS LEATHER! The tag is referring to the materials used for the "stuffing", but the outside is definitely 100% leather!!

the bench is not leather and looks like plastic, not well made at at all, and has a seem in the middle wich is ugly and you can't see it from th pictures posted, unfortunately it is too late for me to return it since i live in Canada and had it shipped to my mom in the sates , so by the time i saw it it was too late. i hate it, and will never puchase anything like that on lone again.

I am a photographer and am always looking for clean lined furniture that is easy to move and works well with a variety of clients. This bench fits the bill! It arrived in perfect condition. VERY impressed with the packaging. I would say it was not the easiest piece to put together with the wrench included, but if you have a socket set, you will have an easier time. Not sure what the negative reviewer mean about the bench being made of polyester - it is leather with poly stuffing. I think this is a good value and will hold up to many, many uses. It would look terrific in a bedroom or even in a living room for extra seating.

I bought this bench for my office after reading other reviews and it looks great. I get many complements on it. Great addition to the office!

I received this item today and was very disappointed. The website clearly states that this item is "leather", but it is not. The tag attached to it states that it is made of "polyester" and "polyester foam", not leather. I would not have purchased this item had I known that it was made of polyester and not leather. Overstock has stated that they will refund my purchase amount upon return.
