The reviews are what sold me on this comforter. I was looking for a while for a down comforter for our guest room and this is PERFECT... and it comes with a duvet cover. Some people were complaining about the quality of the cover, but it is what it is. It's a cover! The material is like a sheet and very comfortable. I was contemplating ordering up a size as many people recommended, but when I actually measured what the king size was, I didn't want the comforter hanging longer that the decorative comforter that would be on top of it, so I stuck with the queen and was very glad I did. I guess it depends how deep your mattress is. Anyway, overall, I am very satisfied with the comforter and so were my guests! No feathers, no smell, not "crunchy"... totally great and you CAN'T beat the price!!

This product was an excellent choice for our guest room. So much so, that I ordered a set for the master bedroom. The quality is excellent and the price is out of this world. I highly recommend this to everyone.

I ordered this product and love it to the MAX! The only thing I don't like is the duvet cover. Down comforter gets all tangled up, but other than that love it!

The comforter and cover arrived promptly. Very good quality for the cost. My daughter immediately dyed the cover bright orange to match her room! Comforter is warm and light.

I've been using this comforter for about 3 weeks. It is lightweight and very warm. I tend to be cold and do not have heat upstairs. I had to switch back from flannel to cotton sheets again because, even with the window open and the night temperatures in the 30s, I was getting too hot. This comforter keeps me very warm.The duvet cover slips on and off easily for washing.This is excellent value and quality for the price.

My wife and I bought this based on the reviews we read, so we felt we should return the favor and write one as well. When we first received it, we thought it would not keep us very warm; it was pretty thin in appearence. But little did we know this thin comforter would keep us too warm. Well, too warm for my taste but it keeps my wife nice and cozy. It's definitely a GREAT deal as many places will sell this for about $300. We really like it too b/c I am allergic to certain fabrics and fillings so it worked out well. Also, it came with a duvet which we didn't know about. It's in the closet as we had another one we wanted to use anyway. This comforter is well worth ever penny! We are going to purchase another one for our guest bedroom.

Although this is not a real down comforter, it is still a very good bargain for the money I paid. it is not super fluffy - but it is warm and, yes, comfortable to use, especially when it was not that cold at night.

Super warm and comfortable. LOVE IT! After reading the many positive reviews for this item I decided to purchase. The price attracted me but concerned me. Too low, could be junk? I've not be disappointed. The item was exactly as it was described. It's nothing fancy, but it's a quality comforter. The duvet cover is plain, but well made. And at least it comes with one and is easily washed. I will probably get a new one at some point; something more colorful. But I can live with it until then. I plan to continue to use it as a layer between the comforter and the future duvet.

I recently purchased this down comforter for my son. I had not purchased from Overstock in years but the last product I did purchase was a down comforter. I had high hopes for this new comforter and was not disappointed. The quality was superior to anything that I had seen in stores and the value was unbelieveable. My son is very happy with this product and I would buy it again if the need arose.

The down comforter and duvet cover are an exceptional buy,. It is lightweight, warm, and makes bed making very easy. All I have to do is pull up the comforter, fluff up the pillows, and I'm done.The duvet cover is very plain, but if you want to show off your bedroom, it's easy enough to buy a different cover. Shipping was very prompt and it arrived in excellent condition.

The comforter is warm, soft, and my dog loves it. The duvet cover is a bit small for the king size comforter but hey, what do you expect for free? Overall, a good purchase and really comfortable. I would recommend it.

When I opened the package, I was a little suprised at how compact the duvet seemed, but when I fluffed it in the dryer for15 minutes to re-distribute the down, it filled out nicely. The duvet is light yet very warm, perfect for our long Canadian winter. I use the duvet cover that comes with the duvet as a protection under a more decorative duvet cover. Although this duvet is not as full as the photo appears, it is warm and is very good value for the price.

This is a very nice down comforter. When I received the comforter I immediately stuck it in the dryer to fluff it. I also washed the cover which washed up perfectly and wrinkle free. There aren't any buttons or ties in the cover so I purchased some comforter anchors for each corner so it wouldn't shift. This will keep you nice and warm without smothering you. Love it!

I am pleasantly surprized with this set. It took me about a month of searching out comforters and finally decided on this one. I am NOT disappointed. There is NO odor at all, I was apprehensive because of some of the past reviews but this comforter is GREAT! When first opening the package I thought it was going to be flimsy, but one round in the dryer and it fluffed up immediately. I don't feel a heaviness on my body and it is comfortable and soft to sleep under. With Michigan winters coming upon us this comforter will be wonderful to snuggle in. I find myself kind of excited to get under the covers at night! NO crinkly sounds or picky material, the duvet is soft which I was concerned about because of the thread count. Very happy with this set, don't think you will be disappointed with it. Remember, when you first open the package it won't look like much, but after a few fluffs in the dryer, it is beautiful!

I REALLY LIKE THE COMFORTER, THE ONLY IMPROVEMENT THAT I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IS A HIGHER THREAD COUNT IN THE DUVET COVER.

Purchased this July 09 after reading all the great reviews and now I know why. Great find for such a bargain price!!! Very comfortable and definitely keeps me warm and I keep my thermostat around 65 at night. I did purchase the King size for my queen size bed bec. I like lots of blanket to hang over the sides to make sure my feet dont get cold. Love it and would def. purchase again! :)
