The item isn't worth buying. I used the item to grill my vegetables, didn't have to use no cooking oil. When I used it on the gas stove it was off balance, vegetables didn't cook evenly, I had to keep switching & shifting the vegetables on the griddle it took forever to cook. It would've gone faster to bake or broil the vegetables. When I washed the griddle it rusted, now it is a piece of garbage. NO I wouldn't reccommend this item to anyone.

Overall the griddle is sturdy and well made. My one complaint would be that it needs a better handle. The cut outs on the side are difficult to use when hot since they are flat and next to the burner. It might be easier on gas or coil electric, but is difficult on a ceramic top. The cast iron holds the heat and cooks evenly. I would buy the product again.

Seasoned with oil and black residue came off. Washed it and still came off. Not sure what it is, but not appetizing to cook on.

The product was just as described, the perfect size for two stove burners and with the appropriate seasoning (as described in the leaflette) will last me a life time. I have it used so far to make about a hundred blini on it, which would take forever in a skillett. I am looking forward to making pancakes for the whole gang, which will be a snap on such a big work area. I highly recommend this item for avid breafast cooks: french toast, flap jacks as well as blini, as I have done.

nicely weighted griddle - holds heat well - not sure if grill side works as it doesn't fit snuggley on my gas burners.

The cast iron skilet is exactly what I have been looking for, and cheaper by far than any that I passed by. I use it every day, leaving on the stove top all of the time. It is very attractive there. Thank you.

Rusted, even after treated........ Very heavy and not easy to handle or store. Not wht I expected at all...
