    • Nice set

I purchased this set because my son was getting a bit too big for his previous bed. It arrived faster than I expected and had all of the required parts. It took me roughly 5 hours to properly assemble the bed (with assistance) because the instructions are written so poorly. In fact, there are no instructions, only pictures of what to do. Aside from the instructions, or lack thereof, I'm very pleased with this set. It was a perfect match to my sons preexisting furniture so I only had to replace the bed and mattresses. Also, I went to **** ****** and had some plywood cut to sit on top of the frame because it seemed a bit unstable with its original design.

    • Great Quality

For the price we paid, this was a great buy! The product arrived in 3 boxes. The only issue I had with this product was the assembly time. Although my boyfriend and I both enjoy and are good at putting things together, this product took us 3 hours. Also with the ladder as well as the brackets that needed to be screwed together, there were no pre drilled holed or indications as to where exactly everything needed to be placed so we had to do a bit of guessing. The instructions come in step by step diagrams. There were no notes or written words explaining anything so we had to figure it out how it goes ourselves. But for the proce and quality, it was definitely worth it.

    • Worst assembly ever, and I have done a lot of furn

OK, I have put together a LOT of furniture in my life, and this was the worst experience i have ever had. The instructions were TERRIBLE. There were pieces where the orientation (i.e. up / down mattered) and there was an arrow on the part, but no instructions as to whether the arrow needed to point up or down. Some of the holes were not properly drilled so the screws would not go in, and I had to take the other 4 out again to re-drill out the hole so that it would fit in. There were other pieces that were mislabeled which made the process interesting. I am happy with the bed after FINALLY getting it put together, but it was a long and painful process!

    • Good quality, lots of assembly, mediocre instructi

I like the bed, it is very good quality. I think it will last a long time. There are a lot of pieces, you will be assembling every one of them. This is a kit bed. Expect to spend 4-6 hours in assembly. There were no missing pieces in the kit. The instructions were adequate, but sparse. The instructions could be far better. The lack of high fidelity step by step instruction caused me to make two fairly large mistakes that required backtracking. I did this alone and i would recommend doing this with a helper. Expect to possibly lose your temper more than once due to the barely adequate instructions. At the end of the assembly, you will have a nice bed.

    • Grammie to the resuce

A friend bought this bed, and recommended it to me, without any hesitation. For Christmas, my daughter and her husband wanted a bunk bed for their 3 year old daughter. They picked the color, I ordered it and it arrived in perfect condition. My son-in-law who is an electrician raved about how sturdy and high-quality the bed was. I was a hero!

    Questions & Answers

Get your product questions answered right here.
    • Can the ladders be mounted on the right or left side?

      • Hello, I apologize for the delay. The assembly instructions indicate the ladder is fixed in position, and cannot be installed on the opposite end of the bed. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • Is the ladder fixed, or can it be pulled up during the daytime to prevent small children from climbing up?

      • Hello laura382, the ladder hooks over the top of the side rail, and is held in position by screws. for safety it is not recommended to use the ladder unless secured by the screws.. Thank you for shopping with us.

    • If the bunk beds are separated, is the twin bed close to the floor (like a standard twin bed) or would it be lofted?

      • Thank you for shopping with us jdrums99 . Bunk Bed Height: 51 inches to 64 inches. Have a good day.

      • It would be like a standard twin bed. The twin sits on top of the full size bed.

    • What is the max weight for top/bottom?

      • Thank you for your question. The bunks are rated for 165lbs each.Have a great day!

      • I have had this bed for a little over a year, and unfortunately the support for the side rail that is on the left had side of the ladder just broke when some guests were staying at the house! It looks like I may be able to get a replacement part from Overstock, but I am now regretting not getting the damage protection, or a sturdier bed! You may want to consider reinforcing this piece if you buy the bed.

    • Can this bunk bed be used as two separate beds?

      • Sturdy wooden construction and clean, crisp lines define the classic style of our Mission Bunk Bed. At MOM'S Bunk House safety comes first, so all of our bed designs have been rigorously tested in independent labs to meet or exceed both ASTM and CPSC safety standards. Guardrails are included for the top bunk. Ladder rungs are flat, not vertical, for your child's comfort and easy access to the top bunk. All wood is fully sanded and sealed with a clean, smooth coating to prevent splinters. All of our finishes are child-safe and lead free. Each bunk comes with a slat roll foundation to provide secure support for a standard size mattress,The bottom bunk is 11" off the floor. The space between the bottom bunk slats and top slats is 30". The bed is constructed of solid wood. It can be separated into two separate beds for versatility.

    • What are the dimensions of the space under the bed. Want to know if a trundle would fit?

    • how deep is the twin bed space? what thickness of mattress can it accomodate?

      • The twin bed space is deep enough to accommodate a standard twin-size mattress.

    • does either the upper or lower bed require a box spring?
