Hi. How would you characterize the shade of turquoise...I'm really hoping it's darker than it appears on my monitor--closer to teal blue than green?
I have been searching for 3 months for the perfect art deco piece for my dining room and have finally found what I've been looking for! I purchased 2 of these paintings for a more dramatic look and the turquois brings out the tinted glass in my dining table. Very happy with the product...

I ordered this to go with Turquoise on Dogwood I that I had previously purchased for my living room wall. I decided that two of these prints would fill up the wall better and decided to order this print. It came and the colors weren't even remotely close to matching. The other print is a nice deep turquoisey/aqua color, and this one was several shades lighter and had a nasty yellow hue like it had been sitting out in the sun for a while.Read More

Painting arrived within seven days, and was exactly what I wanted. It was bigger than what I thought it would be, but that is ok!Read More
We loved everything about this picture. We ordered it to hang next to an oriental silk that has a beautiful geisha painted on it. By the description and color of the picture, we thought we were getting something more in teal or blue. This is more like a neon turquoise color. It's very beautiful, but if it not been such a large item to re-pack, we would probably had returned it. However, it grew on us the more we looked at it. We found some details in our geisha picture that seemed to match L. Gunn's painting. Based on the fact that we liked it so much, we decided to keep it. Beward, though, the color shown on Overstock IS NOT the color you are expecting as portrayed.Read More
Needed a large painting for my Spa ....this is just a perfect piece. The background color is a soft turquoise....that blends in nicely with the white blossom. Truly is a fine piece of art. The wrapped canvas is a great way to present this painting. I will enjoy this feature painting for a very long time.Read More
This canvas came via FEDEX and a day earlier than projected. The box had a slice on front of canvas side but no rip of actual canvas. When I opened it, I was surprised that it was not in bubble wrap or anything to protect it from possible box-cutter damage or shipment damage. My other canvas artwork from Overstock was in bubble wrap. The color was off but I'm not upset bc my wall is large and white so any color in this palette. I'm going for the Asian look for my bedroom so as long as my wall looks like the Arizona tea bottle, then I'm okay with that. My only real source of disappointment was that the canvas is not an actual painting, so it's a print on stretched canvas. So, if you are looking for raised paint to look like an oil painting, it might be a waa waa waaaaa moment. I have seen many reproductions of oil on canvas at flea markets so I know it can be done- and much cheaper than this. I think this is so over priced. Also, the site promised a certificate of authenticity, which I never received. I've gone to this artist's website and I think there is some misrepresentation here. I feel that the artist could make this a raised oil on canvas for mass reproduction. Overall, it was an ok order.Read More
I'm very happy with this canvas, the colors were true, it is very large and perfectly suited the spot I had purchased it for. This is a stretched canvas, not an actual painting, so be aware that the areas were the paint appears to be thicker, etc., is actually flat, so a distance from the viewing area would be recommended.Read More
