First, I do love these dishes because of the pattern but any consumer must know that they will not last long because they are EARTHENWARE not stoneware. Earthenware is less strong, less tough and more porous than stoneware. They chip very easily and continually. You can't let them sit in water because the bottoms are porous and in the microwave they are much hotter than other types of dishes. A lot of drawbacks and I would not recommend these dishes. If they ever have the pattern in stoneware I'd buy them in a second. I still use mine but will probably go to something else when they have to many chips to use.

Overstock delivered the dinnerware quickly. The dishes are just what I wanted. They are beautiful. I would recommend this product and overstock. I think you will be pleased.

This is a very high quality product from Pfaltzgraff. We have purchased many Pfaltzgraff products over the years and this product maintains the same level of quality we have experienced in the past. I would hightly recommend this product.

Pfaltzgraff's Painted Poppies design is absolutely beautiful. I ordered 2 sets that serve 4 each. I have known this design for a long time, and was so looking forward to receiving it. However, each set that arrived had a shattered dinner plate, and the rest of the dishes were not perfect, leading me to believe they were "seconds". Overstock was very gracious in dealing with the issue, and sent me 2 "new" dinner plates, which arrived in one piece, but had scratches in areas, and abrasions, and also looked like seconds...very disappointing. I then was sent another full set to choose dishes that were in perfect condition to replace any of the original dishes that were not perfect. Well, 3 of the dinner plates were totally chipped on one side, with the chipped pieces sitting on top of them. I managed to fill out my set, with dishes from that set, but still with dishes that were not perfect. All through this, Overstock was very gracious, and apologetic, and even gave me a free membership in Club O. However, I am soooo disappointed, and am fed up with this order. In the reviews I read, other people were basically happy, but many mentioned receiving broken dishes, and having to have them replaced. This was not a pleasant experience. I would only recommend these sets of dishes, if they were purchased elsewhere, because they are really beautiful. I feel there is an issue with quality control at Overstock, which stems from their warehouse.

We've been looking for a nice everyday dinnerware set that will last. This is very beautiful, heavy duty stoneware set. It came exquisitely packed. No chips on any of the 80 pieces (I ordered 2 sets.) The plates are large. I like that it comes with 2 sizes of bowls. The mugs are large with very comfortable handles, even for my husband's large hands. Would absolutely recommend them for a friend.

The product came well packed and no breakage. However, after two days the handle broke off one of the cups. Overall, though, we are satisfied with the product.

I received my new Sango 40-piece Nova Brown stoneware dinnerware set about two weeks ago and was I ever surprised. Not only was everything in tact, but the dinnerware set looks amazing. This dinnerware set is exactly what I have been looking for. Color, quality and packing of the set really exceeded my expectations.I love the two different size plates as well as the color and how sturdy the set is. We hand wash dishes so have not tried them in a dishwasher. Microwave..no problem! The deal I got from Overstock was shocking! (loved the price), and yes indeed I would highly recommend this dinnerware set to everyone.

The dishes arrived packed very well. The box for the dishes was inside of another box with lots of cushion. The dishes are beautiful. The bottom part of the dishes is a very dark brown, which is hard to tell from the pictures. The dishes are what I expected and more. Very pleased with the purchase.

I've owned this set for 2 yrs. & I'm still delighted with them. If they chip, crack or craze it is because they are stoneware & like most stoneware, letting them set in water is a no-no. Stoneware soaks up water into the unglazed edge on bottom when they are subjected to soaking for any period of time. The longer they soak the worse the water absorption is. Then when they go into the microwave/oven the heat makes the plates hot & causes cracking & chipping due to the water content in the clay. I have been through this before & found it was my own fault. It says on the directions not to soak these dishes (or any stoneware) in water. Rinse them & place in dishwasher. Since I started doing this with these dishes, I have had no problems.

I was worried about ordering ceramic dinnerware through the mail. The Pfaltzgraff came intact. However, the finish of 3 dishes was scratched. I called customer service and they immediately resent the scratched pieces. The dishes came in 3 days. Thanks.

This is beautiful dinnerware. The main problem with this dinnerware is that it chips very easily and it has cracked in the microwave even though it states that it's microwave safe. It seems that this dinnerware just isn't up to the high standards that you expect from Pfaltzgraff. Two pieces of this dinnerware came to us broken but was quickly replaced by Overstock. The customer service is excellent.

My dishes arrived about 1 week after I ordered. No damage to anything. They were very well packed. The dishes are very pretty. My favorite thing about the dishes is the 2 different size bowls. I use the smaller bowl for most things and have used the larger bowl as serving bowls. I have only had these dishes 3 weeks, so I can't comment on chipping.

I love these dishes! They are different than anything I have seen and so fun to set the table with! Pier 1 has some great accents I found to go with them. The quality is very good and I would definitely buy them again and/or recommend them.

Dinnerware was packed with utmost care and received in perfect condition. The dishes are lovely, even more stunning than the online picture. The colors are vibrant, the artful design is beautiful, and the dishes & mugs are sturdy and a great size. The family was very impressed, and I'm quite happy with my purchase. I'll definitely order from Overstock again, especially now that I'm confident in the care they take when shipping fragile items.

The dishes are really beautiful and my family is enjoying using them. So far there are no "chip" or breakage issues and they are fine in the dishwasher. They are quite large, though. I do not have a problem with the size, although when I saw the cups I had an "Alice in Wonderland" moment. I thought I would not get them into my cupboards. They did fit with some adjustments. Overall, we are very happy with them. They arrived well packed and quickly.

Very fast delivery. Two pieces were broken. I called immediately to let them know and within a week I had two replacement pieces. Customer service was prompt and very helpful. I really like the design although some pieces are a little lighter than others

They say the kitchen is the heart of a home, but in many homes, it's also the biggest source of energy waste. Kitchen lighting, refrigeration and cooking consume about 41.5 percent of the total home energy use; add space heating, cooling, and water heating to that total, and you'll see your kitchen is quite the energy hog. Creating an eco-friendly kitchen includes your choice of appliances, but it also goes beyond that; the floors, paint, pots and pans, and other kitchen items you use can make your kitchen eco-friendly as well.
