Very heavy, wish the dinner plates had a little more of a lip on them to prevent spillage great quality and style

I love the style of the dishware and we get lots of compliments. It is very heavy duty. The only drawback is the heaviness could be a disadvantage to someone having arthritis or wrist pain. Have had it 6 months and it's holding up very well.

The color of the gray was much more metallic than I expected which gives it a more modern look but I do like it. They are heavy and came out of the dishwasher great. I just got them so I can't comment on chipping or marking but so far I love my purchase.

these dishes are stoneware and look very nice. The color may initially throw you off as the trim is almost like a pewter color and kind of metallic in appearance. I was pleasantly surprised to get a whole shipment without any chips and just a few minor scratches...overall very happy.

I just bought a house and needed a dish set. I liked that this was 40 pieces. The sizes of the plates and bowls are great. The smaller bowl is good for cereal or icecream... everyday stuff. The bigger bowl is great if you want a big salad or pasta dish. The only complaint (and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is that the metallic rim around the plates, and the outside of the smaller bowls, they get finger prints and water spots on them very easily. I dont have a dish washer, so everything gets hand washed and air dried-- and when I put the clean dishes away they are always spotted up.

The 2 sets of dishes arrived in perfect condition, they were well packed. The set was exactly as described and pictured on Overstock.com. I am very happy with the quality and price.

The dishes look just like the photo. The bowls are very large which is great for popcorn. (I wouldn't fill them to the top with cereal as I think that would make nearly 2 full servings), I have had these dishes for two months now and have had no problems with chipping or discoloration.

Product arrived in great condition. The overstock packaging and internal box packaging were top notch. All the dinnerware arrived with no blemishes or chips. Color, condition, and material of the items are all top notch. They also stack perfectly. Plates: As mentioned in other reviews, the plates are huge. They just barely fit in my cabinet space, so make sure you measure before ordering. I don't consider this at all a problem, just something to keep in mind. Bowls: Good sized bowls, a little deeper than most which I appreciate. Salad Plates: Good sized plates. Can easily fit bowls and salad plates together in the cabinet. Cups: A little smaller sized than I'm accustomed to, but for a social gathering would work very well (just not ideal for my morning injection of caffeine). They are very comfortable to hold. An excellent set and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Visually and functionally great set of dinnerware. I've only owned the set for a little while, so I'll be sure to update my review if any chipping issues should occur.

We were very pleased with the speed of delivery and quality of the product. There were two broken dishes at delivery and they were replaced immediately with a short computer "chat" with the customer service folks. We have gotten many compliments from friends and family already.

We remodeled our kitchen over a year ago and have been struggling to find dinnerware that is close to the color palette of the room, D/W and microwave safe, and not boring. This set satisfied on all counts, and the price was great. I also have never seen this particular Sango pattern in any local retail stores, so I appreciate not having a set of dishes like everyone else. This is my 5th purchase on Overstock.com and I continue to be satisfied. I tend to be a hesitant online buyer as I usually need to see a product "in person" before buying, but I have had great success thus far with the accuracy of product descriptions, fast shipping, and careful packaging of fragile items.

When I ordered this dinnerware I was a little apprehensive as there were no reviews on this set but the day after I ordered them I seen a very disappointing review which made me very skeptical until I received them. They are beautiful! Each one has a slight difference but they were designed that way and I out of two sets I haven't found one that I felt needed to be replaced.

These dishes are lovely. I was pleasantly surprised they arrived without any chips. The pewter color trim does show fingerprints as many have said, but it is because it is somewhat metallic. Doesn't bother me. These dishes almost look like they would not be microwave safe, although they are supposed to be. Very pleased with my purchase.

We have looked at several different stores for dishes and finally found these. Decided to check Overstock to see if they had the dishes. They did and the price was much better than locally. Ordered them and they were shipped immediately. When delivered, we opened them and they were just what we wanted. Dishes are wonderful and the service from Overstock was exceptional.

I have spent 2 years looking for charger plates for my Lennox China. I was about to give up when I found these and I'm so pleased. The quality is excellent and the color is similar to dark pewter. The embossed design is very unique and will compliment a lot if china patterns. They are on the dressier side which is what I was looking for. But it's the color that gives them a rich appearance. Their larger size makes the design stand out around my fine china! Highly recommend to anyone looking for this color!

I luv my new dishes. The design is a silver gray with the metallic accent. The metallic accent reflects a silver and/or gold tone, depending on what is around it. Just be careful not to put them in the microwave! These dishes are light weight, stack nicely, and thus far are durable.

These dishes look nothing like the picture! The are more metallic gray than the dark gray color that is shown.

The dishes unpacked with absolutely no damage. They stack beautifully. We have used them for a month and found they are comfortable to handle and come out of the dishwasher looking perfect. Food presents well on the color and shape of the dishes. We love to use these dishes and highly recommend them.

POSITIVE: Light weight and contemporary style. NEGATIVE: ALL the dishes came with uneven edges. Is this normal Corelle quality now? I grew up with this brand and I remember them to be good quality. SIZE: Dinner and salad dishes are too large. The salad dish is what it used to be the dinner dish. They almost do not fit the dishwashwer. MUGS: They do not match the set, are heavier, different color and made in China. CHEMICALS: I bought the white set hoping to reduce the amount of lead, but realized from other forums that Corelle has the statement saying they use "low lead" paints/glases. So they are not lead and other heavy metals free.

Mankind and, of course, womankind have adorned themselves with precious metals for centuries. We've always loved the color, shine, and rarity of gold and silver, fashioning the metals into coins, crowns, and even dishes. For talented artisans and their patrons, fine jewelry meant gold and silver and, recently, platinum. However, other metals, such as steel and titanium, can be crafted into high-quality, durable and stylish jewelry, and jewelers have become more appreciative of these alternatives in recent years. The jewelry industry uses the term "alternative metals" to describe the trend toward using industrial metals and alloys for contemporary design. This alternative metals buying guide offers some basic information to help you learn more about these fashionable metals.
You have a piece of beautiful metal jewelry. Maybe it is a traditional metal like gold or silver, or maybe it is one of the more modern metals like platinum or tungsten. To keep your jewelry looking bright and new, here are some tips for cleaning metal jewelry. First, no matter what metal your jewelry is made of, take it to a professional jeweler at least once a year to have it professionally cleaned and polished, have attachments and prongs tested for weakness and have any gems inspected for cracks or chips. Between professional cleanings, however, you can keep your metal jewelry looking great by following this advice.
You probably come across sterling silver in your everyday life more often than you think. It's most popular use is in the production of jewelry, where it is typically fashioned into a wide variety of rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, charms and pendants. It is also used to produce and embellish serving dishes, sculptures, frames and many other household items. The use of sterling silver was first popularized in the 1800s and today sterling silver gifts and jewelry are widely available, as these items are often preferred as a less expensive alternative to gold and other precious metals.

One of the most versatile pieces of cookware for any kitchen is the skillet, also known as a fry pan. The types vary in cost, materials, and ease of cleanup. While plenty of skillet choices exist, selecting the one that best suits your needs will help make every dish a success.
Tungsten rings are hard and durable, making them low-maintenance. Unlike rings made of gold and silver, which are much softer metals, tungsten rings don't develop scratches easily and are tarnish-resistant. In fact, if your tungsten wedding ring has a polished finish, then it will always look shiny and will likely never develop scratches or blemishes. Tungsten jewelry is easy to care for, but it is important to know how to clean it because it is a metal that can react poorly with some cleaning solutions and methods.

Wood has long been used for eating utensils, serving utensils and preparation tools. Wooden spoons are a cooking essential and also a beautiful addition to your kitchen and dining experience. On the practical side, these lightweight yet strong utensils are great for tossing salads and serving everything from mashed potatoes to green beans. Wooden spoons are also the perfect preparation tools for use with nonstick pans. Cleaning and general care of wooden spoons differs, however, from the cleaning and care of metal utensils. Wood expands in water, so soaking the spoons in dishwater is generally not advised. Aside from a few basic rules of care, however, it is not difficult to keep wooden spoons looking like new.

Creating an eco-friendly kitchen includes your choice of appliances, but it also goes beyond that; the floors, paint, pots and pans, and other kitchen items you use can make your kitchen eco-friendly as well.
