  This is a very beautiful set! Looks very pretty sitting on countertop. Nice and heavy. Daughter was very pleased with this set as part of her wedding gift! She LOVED the set!

  These are really rich looking dishes, but the measurements listed are somewhat misleading as they are measured diagonally from corner to corner (like a television). Since I don't think anyone will be storing their dishes in the cupboard on the diagonal, here are the measurements that will actually come in handy to you. These are pretty close (1/8" + or -): the bowls are 8 inches, the salad plates are 9 inches, and the dinner plates are 11 inches. I love that they look like I selected them straight from a pottery artist and add a quiet elegance to my table. The rich darkness of the dishes makes the colours of your dinner really pop and even a humble sandwich and salad have the appearance of a professional presentation. I also love the size of the coffee mug. It really is a 14 oz mug and holds a generous cup so you're not constantly hopping up and down to refill cups. I can run my Keurig into these cups and it will hold one large and one small at the one time and still leaves r...

  Again, I could not get a plain charger without monogram and the loetters did not mean anything to me but I got them anyway. They look very good with my different plates or a mix of them.

  The only problem is that you didn't have the monogram I wanted so I had to settle for a different initial which meant nothing to me; there were not plain ones available.
