    I purchased the whole set for my kitchen remodel and was very happy with the appearance of all the hand painted items.. The ceramic is thick and the colors are perfect.

    I'm sorry, I didn't really like the dinner sets (I bought two sets.) I know I'm stuck with them, but I thought the colors were too harsh...too dark for my taste. The're ruffly handed painted. I have not used them yet, but they seem to be durable.

    I had decided to decorate my kitchen in roosters, going with a country theme. I saw these on overstock and decided to purchase them. From the picture they look like a cobalt blue, but when I received them they were a dark green. That didn't matter they are beautiful and the detail of each being hand painted. I also purchased the serving platter, salt and pepper shakers. I was not able to purchase the fruit bowl, I will keep my eye on overstock and hopefully purchase it later. Love this set, and clucking in Tennessee
