Petite Royale Engraved Ceramic Plate (Morocco)

This is truly a beautiful piece of artwork! It is the perfect piece on the shelf of my range hood.

I received the plate in 4 days and was very pleased to see how securely packaged it was! By the appearance of the shipping box, however, I thought the plate to be at least the size of a standard dinner plate. I was very suprised to see, however, it was more the size of a standard salad plate. My fault, though, since the dimensions were given listed but I didn't take the time to calulate the actual size. The colors of the turquoise plate are quite exquisite, and just the colors I need in my newly decorated living room. The greens and blues are vibrant and quite beautiful. Im not quite sure how I will display it, although, Im thinking along the lines of using an ornate silver easel and simply displaying it on an end table. With regard to the value of the plate, I don't think I would pay as much as I did if I saw it in a department store, eventhough the colors are perfect for my needs.
