The pictures and description of this dining table do not accurately depict the design on the table top. I thought it was a plain design with the grain of the wood going in one direction when it's actually two geometric squares with what I can only describe as a "God's Eye" alternating wood color design. I looked at the other pieces of the Somerton Dakota collection before choosing this table. None of the other products in this line show the design so I assumed the table did not have a design on it either. I'm actually very disappointed. It is not what I expected.
This table was exactly what i was looking for!! Style is great.... But after setting up the table and using it for two days a long crack developed on one of the long edges. To me if a table cracks like this it is usually from cheap or bad material being used. I am greatly disappointed in this table as again it is just what i was looking for. Yes I know that I can return but taking it apart and waiting for the box and returning this big table to wait for another one that probably is going to have the same problem seems like a bit much. Probably going to just keep the table turn into a work desk and learn my lesson about ordering furniture (from overstock) online!!!
It is everything you think it will be but more. QUality is extremely high. It is made how furniture used to be made. Thank you.
Very nice table. The leaf makes it into a big enough table to seat 6 easy. Without the leaf it seats 4. We needed a small table to fit in our kitchen. It look nice and works perfectly.
It's a great table and very substantially constructed. I can't believe it was that cheap.
