Ordering this table was a horrible experience. The logistics with American West and Eldred Delivery was a nightmare (almost 8 weeks long). American West was extremely unfriendly and just down right rude. Overstock reps took over and pushed it along and tried their very best to make sure the table was delivered (I am thankful for them). Now, as for the table...I am giving this a 3 star not because of the major delivery issues but for the simple fact the table is 3-5 shades lighter than is shown online (I checked 3 different computers against chairs that I also purchased at Overstock and all 3 monitors show the same (or practically the same) color. This table looks like it is natural and has very grainy top (which greatly cheapens the look). The table is made well and is sturdy. I will not pay to have it restocked especially with the nightmare with the delivery companies. I have been in contact with Overstock and have suggested they require vendors to show at least 2 or more pictures of the actual product (not just color swatches or a very small piece of the item). Also, it came to me wrapped in moving blankets alone (just two one for the top and one for the bottom feet). So, buyers beware...

This was my first furniture purchase from Overstock.com and I'm not disappointed. I looked for months at tables on the site and kept coming back to this one. Mainly because it was real wood, and it's 30" high. All of the positive reviews were helpful to me as well, hence the reason I'm leaving one myself. The shipping was super fast. I ordered the table Monday night at 6:45pm and the two boxes were on my door step Thursday by 6pm. Both boxes arrived together (table top arrives in one box and the four legs in another). Everything was in great shape when it arrived (thank you UPS). This table was the perfect size for my dining room (approx. 5' x 3'), although I'm still getting used to have a larger table in the area. I can't express HOW EASY this was to assemble. I actually opened and removed one side of the box with the table top, so that the underside of the table was facing up. I left it in the box, upsidedown, while I attached the four legs. Then I flipped the table over and stood it upright. That was it!! I climbed under the table after it was upright to tighten the bolts and I was done. It was a little difficult to lift the table up alone (I think it weighs about 90 lbs assembled), so having someone to help with that might be advisible. I noticed only two minor flaws in the piece, on two different legs, I could see what looked like a staple or a small hole in the wood near where a staple was inserted (?), but it was down low on the leg and I put those legs to the back. The table top is very smooth and the table is very sturdy. I didn't even need to "level" the legs. When I flipped it over and upright, it didn't wiggle once. I hope this review helps someone. I know I read reviews over and over before making such a purchase.

This table is really a quite solid piece of hardware, with a really nice looking set of wood colors. We wanted something "longer" than most tables, without being too wide, and this fit the bill perfectly. This is set up in a very strong manner, where it'd be my choice of furniture to hop underneath during an earthquake. We are really happy, and be sure to check out the matching chairs and bench. We also found Overstock to have the best prices, even though other places carry the same table under a different name. Great experience, and very happy with the decision to purchase this table from Overstock.

Much like every other review, removing the staples that hold the legs under the table is a miserable process. The quality of the table is definitely exceptional, and it comes packed incredibly well, but it is not without its issues. 1. The table is too tall, when compared to most dining tables. This thing is 31.5" tall, which is 1.5" too tall -- and you will notice it if your dining chairs are on the lower side. I'm thinking about having the legs cut down 30". 2. If you screw the legs in, and don't add some washers or something to the bottom screw, the legs will not line up vertically straight. The bottom of the legs lean inward by about 2 inches (due to the way the screws go in), so you should keep that in mind when screwing the legs onto the table top. 3. The corner pieces under the table, which help keep the structure together, are just glued onto the table, and come off very VERY easily. 4. The tool provided to screw in the legs onto the table top is minute, but the screws are big, long and the pilot holes on the legs are very small, which makes screwing in the legs a hard job for many people. Something to keep in mind. Then again, nothing in life worth doing is easy. 5. As I had mentioned earlier, the table comes exceptionally well packed, but that means that you have to get rid of lots of large, thick cardboard and long, large pieces of wood that come inside the box, serving as protecting barriers that keep the table safe from damage during shipping. Overall, I like the table and would've given it 5 stars if the legs issue wasn't there.

This table set the tone for our beach cottage. It's got a great rustic look that goes well with our shabby chic decor. It is very heavy so be forewarned. Also, while it is meant to look old the finish on the table top is actually easily scratched and water stained. It isn't actually a picnic table that needs no special care. We use placemats and coasters. We loved the unfinished side of the top but unfortunately the hardware is attached to it and so it cannot be reversed. Very happy with this table. We use a bench on one side and 3 chairs on the other and it accommodates them all very comfortably.

1) Table is not as big as it looks. But dimensions are accurate as stated. 2) Table surface is not totally smooth. A few dimples here and there. I guess builder wants to show character of the wood. But I hoped the surface is totally smooth, but surface is not rough because it is lacquered. 3) Legs are not as dark as pictured. They are painted with a greyish-silvery color. 4) Table is NOT built with 1 single piece of wood. It is made of conjoining wood planks. You can see the long and thin metal plates screwed into the underside of the table going the width of the table (one on each side of table), providing support and connecting the individual wood planks together. This fact should have been clearly advertised like so: Table is 100% wood, but not constructed from one solid piece of wood. Hence the reasonable price. If it were made from 1 single piece of wood, its price would be in the thousands of dollar.

Rivals more expensive brands at half the cost. This is a magnificent piece -- sturdy, very heavy and built to last. Definitely a 2-3 person job putting this together, as the top is very, very heavy, but not complicated.

Scoured the Internet for the perfect corner end table for my high-armed couches, and this one is everything I needed! Sitting at about 3 feet high, I don't need to stretch my arm over and down the side of the couch to set my drinks down, because the table height aligns perfectly with the couches. It also has a beautiful finish and nice simple, clean lines that refine any space.

great style - great quality - only 3 stars because I think our particular table was never finished - not just raw - just looks like plain pine picnic table ? I'm going to stain myself....but sort of bummed to still have to refinish a new piece that should have shown as in the picture but didn't. A bit disappointed in the finish, but not the quality and style.
