Recent Customer Reviews in Dining Sets

  • Inexpensive, Stylish, Comfortable

We bought this set for our new house and love it! We were looking for something inexpensive but not too "cheap". This fits our needs perfectly. The supports are all welded metal which are screwed together. The tabletop and baker's rack surfaces are laminate with a faux-wood design on it that's very subtle. The chairs are very comfortable and well-padded.... the only downside is that they are a suede-like material so they grab onto all dust and lint and cat hair. We found everything very easy to put together. Included are instructions that are a single page... it's more of a picture with graphic steps as opposed to written out. All of the parts and hardware were included, the only tool we needed of our own was a Phillips screwdriver and some muscle power. Some of the screws were a little hard to thread properly but I think that may have just been me since my husband did fine with them. It seems quite sturdy and well-supported. Of course not as great as "real" furniture but it does...

I LOVE this dining room set. Not huge and bulky. Fits nicely in our smaller dining room. But large enough for our family of 4. Vinyl seats are good for easy cleaning, and that's great with my 2 kids.the only draw back is the top of the table shows oily fingerprints really easily, and takes a good cleaner to get them off. Problem solved though, with a table cloth or place mats. Directions were easy to follow, AFTER I got my husband to actually read them lol! All in all, love this set. I would reccomend to anyone.

I wasted my money buying this set. I should have spent more money buying something that would last a bit longer. two of the chairs are already broken. As I was putting the table together, nails started to come off, I do not think that should have happened. The table is unstable, and I think the rest of the chairs are about to break as well.

I was very surprised to see a split in the wood on the underside. I expected better from a product that cost $500. After we glued and clamped it, it seems to be fine. A quality control person should have seen this flaw before shipping it out.

    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. there was a split in one of the wood supports underneath. we glued it rather than go through the hassle of shipping it back.

    Not too hard to assemble

I really didn't think these chairs were difficult to assemble - just read the instructions and you'll be fine. I did have a hard time getting the chairs to sit level though - I'm hoping with time they'll settle out. The quality is iffy - I don't think the joints will hold up for too much heavy moving & use, but they are good enough for a starter dining set.
