  First time I ordered the product the delivery was lost and I was not notified but the customer service was great. Promptly responded to my call and sent a replacement within a week and also made some compensation. The disappointing part was the assembly; I hand to hire a handyman and it took more than four hours to assemble four chairs and a table. Two more chairs are yet to be assembled as there were not enough dowels in the package! Chairs need full assembly; be prepared for the work if order the set.

  I bought this as a small breakfast bar for my studio kitchen. It's not for frequent use. The table is not sturdy, and it will take you a moment to put together. Instead of using it for a table. I use it as a chess table for my marble chess set. Looks better that way!

  We just bought a new place and were looking for a new dining room table. The ones we really loved were upwards of 2000-3000 dollars. This one fit the bill beautifully and was so much less money! I was able to buy a new fridge as well! Thank you OVERSTOCK!!!

  Overall, I'm very happy with this, but after scratching the top the very first day with routine use, we payed to have a new finish put on (maintaining the original color) so we can use it without having to cover it up and minimizing the risk of damage. Overall, still a good value and a very nice product.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The overall quality is very nice. However, the surface of the table is very delicate. Unless you plan to always use a tablecloth (with a pad), or placemats, covering up the nice top, you may want to get the top refinished with an oil-based finish and several layers of laquer.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate.

  Shopped around for a while,until I finally found this set for a small beach house. Purchased 2 additional chairs as well to match. Price could not be matched by any other store and shipping was free. Product was delivered in less than a week. Easy to put together all parts fit together well. About 50 minutes for table and 4 chairs. Very happy with it and extra chairs were a bargain as well. If you're looking for a small dinette set that expands a bit to acccomidate 4 ppl, this works just fine.
