  The product arrived on time and undamaged during shipping. Installation was not very difficult, however before jumping right in do note that there are different size bolts for the leg support/foot rest and the seat attachment. The product looks decent overall, however on close inspection, it is easy to notice the stain was applied hastily and unevenly. The seat cushion material is soft (not smooth) and makes sliding on and provides some resistance(and noise) when sliding on and off the seat. The foot rests are set low on the stool, shorter folks will not be able to rest their feet on them. I'm 6' and wish they were a little higher. My wife at 5' 3" can not reach the foot rest. Its also common that folks will step up onto the stool using the foot rest; I'm worried they won't hold up. One has already chipped and I feel them flex as I step up on them (I'm 185lbs). Maybe they'll hold up better than expected, however after limited use I'm expecting at most a few good years ...

  These are very well made. The fabric is also a good quality. Since the walk space where these are used in our kitchen is narrow, we did not add the backs. They work perfect and do not look like part of the stool is missing. Always receive positive comments from guests.

  Wanted small, light colored chairs because my old house is full of wood and can be a bit dark. The chairs are very light weight and a bit small, but that'w what I was going for in my tiny dining room. Arrived quickly and in good condition. Easy to put together. Take heed when you read "do not tighten screws until all screws are in place." That is important for correct alignment and strength.

  We purchased four of these chairs to go with an antique tiger oak table. They worked great. The finish has a brownish-reddish tint, which works well with the tiger oak. We like the fact that these are all solid wood. These were simple to put together but a little tedious - some of the screws were in hard-to-access locations. These chairs have floor protector feet already attached which is nice. One seat had a rough blemish area on the seat but we were able to rub most of it out. There are a few small imperfections in the finish, but for the price they look great. If you are looking for perfection in the finish of each chair you may want to choose something else. The back legs of these chairs turn in, making the distance between the back legs smaller than the distance between the front legs. Because of this, the chairs can be a little tippy from side to side - so watch out if you have kids who like to play on the chairs...

  I would definitely order more of these chairs. They are of great quality. The chairs are nice heavy wood and very easy to assemble.
