Nice chairs. Bought three of them for our new kitchen with new peninsula. They feel sturdy and have some nice features : metal over the foot-cross bar (to help with wear from shoes), and the cloth material has stain resistance properties (kid's finger stains and home made salsa I splattered on them wiped off easily), adjustable feet to level the chair.
The assembly process worked best when assembled upside down. This is done by placing the top of the seat cushion upside down resting on another chair (like one from the dinning room). This upside down configuration makes a 'bridge' between the back of the barstool and the (dinning room) chair. Doing it this way allows you to get to the holes for assembly, but also lets you jostle the parts around so they'll align correctly. A power tool helped with bolting it together. It took about 15min to assemble.
