Electric frying pan
This is the best electric frying pan that I have ever owned. I use it at least 4 to 5 times a week. It is large enough to accomodate the size recipes that I need to make with a fmaily of 5. It is easy to keep clean and is very durable. I love it so much that I'm going to buy one more for my parents who love to cook and are great cooks. I have made everything from breakfast foods to gourmet dinner in it. I prefer to use this over a crock pot anyday. I would reccommend that every household purchase one.

Great Item for a small kitchen!
I bought this skillet for my daughter and son-in-law as they have a very small kitchen. Instead of having 3-4 pots in the sink, she can cook a "one pan deal" without a bunch of clean up. I have one of these myself, but this is certainly not the first one! I cook on this skillet as much as I can. We love fried potatoes...so I can cook a meal's worth and then some! A great appliance to own. I know I will never be without one again!

Not as advertised
The advertising claims the thermostat can be set to 450 degrees. It only goes up to 425 degrees. If you need that extra 25 degrees (as I do) you're out of luck. Perhaps the pan indeed is diecast - perhaps. If so, it is the lightest-weight, flimsiest diecast skillet I've ever seen. I don't think it's possible to diecast aluminum that thin. Maybe I'm wrong but, flimsy is flimsy.

Skillet arrived promptly and knob attachment to lid was easy to do. My husband and I like this skillet very much and we have no complaints. Price was right so we thought we'd try it. Feel comfortable doing the same.

dicast aluminum electric skillet
This pan is very cheaply made. I have only used it twice and things stick to the pan, considering it is a non stick pan. It is total crap, and not worth the money . You'll hate it if you buy it.

All purpose skillet
I use this skillet for everything, from pancakes to pork chops. It is the only skillet I use, put the hash browns in one end and fry some eggs or sausage in the other end. If you want an all-around skillet, buy this one.

BOTTOM WAY TO HOT
I RECEIVED THIS SKILLET 2 YEARS AGO FOR CHRISTMAS. I LOVE TO USE ELECTRIC PANS. BUT------- I HAVE TO PLACE A VERY THICK WOODEN CUTTING BOARD UNDER THE UNIT BECAUSE IT GETS SO HOT AND I AM AFRAID IT WILL DO DAMAGE TO MY COUNTER. I HAVE NEVER PLACED THE WHOLE UNIT IN WATER AND DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS HAPPENS.?

Great skillet
This is a great skillet, does what I need. The only reason I gave it a four star was that it "feels" a little cheap. I like a heavier pan/pot but for the price, I couldn't ask for anything more. Temperature is pretty accurate.

Essential kitchen tool
This is a great skillet for a party or a large family. We used it for parties all the time. The skillet keep food warm and looked good as a buffet server. It cooks the most evenly of any I've ever used. It cleaned up quickly and easily.
