The chair has a very deep back and thick cushion that leaves my legs dangling off the edge and as a 5"10" male that is not the most masculine image. As a result I will avoid this chair and opt for my image tested recliner until I get an ottoman. However, I must admit it is a well built and good looking chair for the value and has the seal of approval from my 90 lb Boxer who has staked claim to it.

The other reviews of this chair sold me on it and they were right. It is a great chair. I love the ample seating cushion and it's comfortable too. I gave it four stars because one foot of the chair chipped slightly when I screwed it in but it is not visible. It did ship in an awkward box that was not intact upon arrival but the chair was enclosed in a protective case and I would rather it arrive put together than have to do extensive assembly.

I love everything about this chair. Looks great with or without the back cushion. All I had to do was put on the legs...maybe 40 seconds of work. The only issue I had was how it was delivered but that is a UPS issue not an overstock issue. My UPS driver left the box which is in a large L shape in my lobby. I am sure someone got a good laugh watching me wrestle the thing into my elevator and front door. The chair came quickly and is a wonderful addition to my bedroom. the seat of the chair is wide enough for me to sit criss cross applesauce or for my daughter to sit with me. Added a yellow pillow accent...overall very happy with this purchase

I wanted two chairs to replace a low couch by the fireplace so that guests could either view the fire or swing legs around and join conversations by the main seating area. The armless design is perfect for this. Plus, I'm 5'8" and appreciate that my long legs are supported by the generous dimensions of the chairs. My living room is traditional and these add a classic/contemporary feel which helps keep it from feeling trapped in a past decade. Did not/could not spend a lot of $ on chairs for infrequent use so I'm also pleased with the price.

This chair looks as great in person as it does on the site. We purchased this for our office waiting room, and it worked out perfect. It looks classy without being stuffy and most importantly, without the big price tag. This chair has great lines, and literally took just a few minutes to put the legs on. The legs were cleverly shipped and stored in a zippered compartment underneath the chair cushion. Zero complaints. You will not be disappointed.

Heavier than expected. Very nice! the color was a little darker then I thought but still goes with the room. The only other thing is that the seat cushion is very firm.

The fabric is a sorta oatmeal with a texture to it. I suspect it will hold up very well with occasional use. The brown piping makes the chair look more expensive than it actually cost. Not that comfortable though -- really just an accent chair. There's no assembly except screwing the legs on -- very easy and no tools needed. Would buy another if there was space. for the price, it was a bargain.

I purchased this chair as an accent piece for my home. I assumed by the price that I would not be getting something that could withstand use as a daily piece but, again, it was only to serve as an occasional chair. The fabric is very trendy and I was very surprised with the detailing. The chair compliments my other den pieces well. It is very comfortable!

I was pleasantly surprised when we set the chairs up (in about 10 minutes) and sat in them for the first time. They are nice and comfy and quite inviting. I also like that they aren't tiny chairs. They can hold their own in a room.

Chair looks good, just very uncomfortable to sit in. Seat slants forward and requres a foot stool in order to "stay in the seat".

This is a perfect accent chair (we purchased two). My husband and I call these our reading and relaxing chairs. Perfect for the space we have designated for these two activities! They are well designed, incredibly comfortable (especially with a footrest) and look fantastic. Super easy assembly which literally consisted of taking them out of the boxes and screwing the four legs in. I would not recommend for high-volume or use with kids however. The only reason I don't think these would be ideal for kids or extensive use is the legs. They are screwed in after all and don't feel quite as sturdy as the more expensive pieces I looked at in high-end furniture stores. However, for the price and the super easy Overstock transaction (first time I purchased furniture online), I couldn't be happier.

Like this chair very much using it for additional seating in our great room. It coordinates with by "off White" leather sofa. Very comfortable for watching tv. very neutral sturdy piece. Looked into getting a white leather chair that was part of my sofa set from Macys. The leather chair would have been $1,000! This is a steal!

Fair rating for the damage item. First time ordering bulk item from Overstocks and just as I figured...I was disappointed with the chair. I order two chairs and had to return 1 back due to damages to the bottom of the chair - the lining or bottom cover came apart (after removing from packaging). I'd ordered 2 chairs for the living room and now will probably put the remaining 1 chair in the basement.

I really like this chair. The color is perfect - and the 'fleck' throughout really makes it nicer than a 'solid'. The back is a nice height - and I like that you can remove the back pillow. I replaced it with a patterned pillow that matches the other textiles in my room. The bottom cushion is also removable, with a nice size piece of velcro that holds it in place so it doesn't slide around. The sit is nice and firm - but not overly so. The legs were easy to "install" - and the box shipped right to the front door. Overall - yes - I would recommend this chair.

I got two of these chairs for my sunroom, and they are a perfect fit! The quality is excellent, they are comfortable, and fairly lightweight (which was good for me because when they were delivered to my front door I had to carry them up the stairs to my apartment). I would definitely recommend these for a cozy sitting room!

Based on looks alone, this chair looks like it should cost 2 to 3 times what I paid for it. The fabric doesn't look cheap at all and the chair is very solid. The cushion is extremely firm and has no "give" to it, so it's not the most comfortable seat in the room, for sure. I'm also relatively tall for a female (I'm 5'8") and my feet don't quite touch the ground unless I slouch really far down. It's actually much more comfortable to sit in the chair with my legs crossed and up in the seat than to sit "normally" or with my feet propped on an ottoman. Hopefully the cushion will break in as time goes by. However, all I really needed was additional seating for when I entertain more than just a couple of guests, and this was a total bargain--it looks great, I didn't have to spend much money (at all), but I'll still opt for my much more comfortable couch when I'm alone.
