  Ok, Overstock, you kept asking me to review this product. Here's your review: don't buy this desk. It's beautiful, sturdy, and spacious, but attempting to assemble it yourself will drive you into fits of rage. I am a fairly handy person. I've assembled almost every piece of furniture in our house. Many of them came from IKEA, Target, and Overstock. This desk nearly defeated me. As with most self-assembly items, it uses the cam lock system to attach the top to the legs. However, the desk is much larger than most other items and requires you to match up about 15 screws with cam lock holes. Even the slightest imperfection in the product or assembly makes this task impossible. Since I hate returning things even more than I hate working on a desk for 6 hours, I decided to drill out all the holes myself until I made the desk top fit. My husband was quite alarmed to find me gouging out the top of the leg assembly--it didn't look pretty and it left a pile of sawdust on the floor....

  Read a few of the reviews. This desk is going to come to you broken. I don't think the manufacturer stores it very well. When I received it a corner had been smashed in, a handle was broken off and the lip of the slide out component was broken off completely. A hinge was also torn away from the body of the desk. It looks good but it's a gamble to get this in one piece. Even if you do, the quality is fair but not great. A lot of cheap materials were used and the stain is uneven. HOWEVER: Overstock customer service is excellent and even if you do run into some trouble they will help you with an immediate return or replacement. They were courteous and fast-acting for my trouble with the desk. Also FYI: the name for this desk is the Wyatt Writing Desk w/ Pull Out by safavieh furniture

  I love this desk. I wanted a "different" desk....something eye catching and trendy. This fit the script perfectly. I just love this desk with it's sleek, clean lines. It's not a traditional looking desk and I think I love that the most. It has so many spaces to put items though. I bought the cute little boxes that allow you to label the front of the box with its contents....and that's what I've put out on this desk to keep it really clean looking. I have two printers on this desk though.....one laser printer on the very bottom shelf and a flatbed scanner on the main desk shelf. My boyfriend and I put it together in a couple of hours. It's solid wood and the quality is superb!!! Love it.

  I ordered this desk because it was a more affordable option to the West Elm desk. One leg arrived damaged, as well as the drawer. Replacement leg was sent, along with new hinges (one week to arrive). It actually needed a new drawer, but tired of dealing with it so will make do. Aside from the bumps with the desk, I still would not recommend the desk. Priced at almost $XXX, it is not worth it. It does look nice and the color is very nice, but i expected better quality.
