Parts missing from package when we started putting it together. This was for my son away at college. He told me he was in contact with you in trying to get the desk sent back or replaced. I sure hope this happens for him or if not then refund the money.

It was a perfect simple computer table that was of nice quality and easy to assemble....it looks great in my living room and blends with most all wood types of furniture.

I have been shopping online for 10 years or more and have never been this disappointed, the box arrived and was filthy, you could tell by the tape on the corners of the box that it had been opened, that had me worried, Upon opening the box you could see it had been repacked Once we got it out the table itself was bent right in on one corner, unusable, there were scratches on all the pieces, but the topper was no bag of screws to even put it together ! That's if you wanted to after seeing the condition of it All I can say is total disappointment The only good thing was Overstock took it back right away I've learned my lesson

This corner desk was easy to assemble and just the size needed. Shipment arrived promptly. I ordered mahagony but received cherry -- however, the cherry finish worked out. I highly recommend the product.

The corner desk arrived earlier than expected (a plus). The desk looked exactly as it was pictured. The price was very reasonable for the product. Also, very pleased that shipping cost was so low. The only negative, there was a nick right in front by the drawer. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Needed a corner desk for my son's bedroom. This item compliments his room perfectly and is better than average quality. It took about an hour to complete the assembly. Delivery of the item was prompt. This is not a temporary fix piece of furniture, but will be used for many years. Not a piece of junk.

I had been searching for a small desk due to space, and when I seen the corner desk I measured and decided to order the desk. When it arrived, I put it together by myself. The desk fit perfect in the spot that I had measured. We are completely satisfied with the workmanship and the price was great. I would highly recommend this desk to anyone, especially if you have a small space to work with.

After 20 years struggling with a cumbersome office layout, crumbling paperboard furniture; the Talisman 2-drawer Writing Desk was the perfect solution. It is solid with plenty of surface space, 2 handy drawers and keyboard shelf. We highly recommend this product!

This was a bit smaller than I had hoped, but than again, I didn't properly measure! Since it's a corner desk, I wasn't sure how the company measured, either. After it got here and was assembled, I did measure and it IS 42" measuring from the left corner (where it touches the wall) to right corner (where it touches the wall), going straight across the top of the desk. It's about 29" from the back corner (where it touches the corner of the wall) straight across the top of the desk to the front drawer of the desk. Sorry if that's more confusing, it's an odd shaped piece. But is a great size if you have a really, really small space. My 22" flat screen monitor, speakers and keyboard fits perfect, but not room for much else.

This is a very attractive space saver desk, however, it's just not practical for a desk top. The bottom of the desk is completely open with nowhere for the wires to be hidden. It looks great in the picture with just a monitor sitting on top of it but once you attempt to hook everything up it looks terrible. Would make a better lap top desk.

Beautiful desk. Great directions. Relatively easy to put together.

This is a beautiful desk. Absolutely georgous with 2 monitors. Prepare for a few hours assembly though. Instructions are adequate if you are familiar enough with tools and know how. It took me a full 6 hrs. But I wanted to be careful and it paid off. I had no trouble at all. A stronger magnet for the keyboard drawer latch may be needed but they are cheap and readily available at local hardware stores. I am very satisfied with the amount paid and quality received. Very nice desk for computer .

This desk is quite handsome after being put together - refined and modern looking. My only complaint was with the assembly directions. They were in very small print, making it not only hard to read but hard to determine what predrilled holes certain screws went into. The drawer slides were confusing because there was a definite right and left side which was not mentioned. The person who assembled it had lots of experience in this type of work but thought the directions were not that user friendly. It took about 3 hours to assemble but I am happy with the desk. It looks great in my room. I would not recommend this as a first "assembly" project.

I put the desk and chair together by myself. Many srews and wood pegs but they only make it durable. Just wish it was a little bigger but it fits exactly where I wanted it.

What the product description didn't tell you is that the item is mainly MDF and has many screws which don't tighten the parts adequately. 3 of the turn screws broke which didn't help the stability but I doubt the desk would have stood up to long term use. The desktop is mounted last and the screws are too long and perforated the surface . I wish I had read the other reviews before purchase which mostly said the same. I opted to return the item as defective but had to completely dismantle it to do so.

It was easy to assemble and looks great. I wish it sat higher so the computer chair would fit, but to solve that problem we removed the keyboard drawer which we didn't need anyway.

I was never able to see the finished product,as I purchased it for my girlfriend's daughter,a college student living out of state. All I can say is the item was very affordable, was shipped promptly, she was ecstatic, and she had no problem assembling it herself.Five stars all-around!
