tedkb from New York, Rating:3.0Overall, the desk looks nice in design, and the color is a nice (dark) cherry wood stain. The legs of the desk appear thick enough and stable enough. The cord opening at the back of the drawer is sufficiently wide, and the plastic casing for the cord case is good. The drawer slide mechanism has a nice smooth glide and the front part of the drawer folds down nicely to perfectly level with the drawer base (which makes it easier to use the keyboard and mouse). Also, the assembly was fairly easy - just 4 legs to put on, with 2 bolts each. Particularly helpful is that the Allen wrench fits fully into the space where the bolts need to be turned - a design consideration that is sometimes missed, but helpfully not with this desk. The challenge with the desk is mainly quality of assembly and packaging. The first desk that I received (same model) was badly damaged - the drawer was cracked, there were large dents on the front and sides - however, the shipping box and styrofoam didn't ...

jackcirv from Phoenix, AZ, Rating:3.0... or the pieces necessary to assemble. Nice wood, good look.. no directions...and it took 2 weeks to get tension rods that are necessary to connect and anchor the legs to the desk. I ended up, while waiting, getting dowels and gluing everything together.

heatherlk from NJ, Rating:1.0This desk does not require 'some' assembly - it arrives as about 100 individual hollow wood boards and another 1000 screws and other tiny pieces needed for assembly. Not only did it take nearly 3 entire days to build the thing, but it's impossible to realize you're missing a piece until you've built practically the whole thing and returning it would be an even bigger pain than just living with the missing part. Unlike *** furniture, this didn't come with any extra screws, etc in case you lose any. The desk is OK once it's built, but we spent more than we should have for what it is. Complete fail.

janis2002 from Northern California, Rating:4.0We are happy with this desk.My husband put it together fairly quickly. It arrived quickly as well. His only complaint (and perhaps you can let the manufacturer know?) is that the screw that holds the knob for the drawer is not long enough so we had to buy a longer screw. The company might want to fix that.
