The pressure is on
I love these digital pressure cookers. They really make freezer to plate meals super easy in a very short time. The clean-up is effortless. I like to use mine as an electric saucepot as well. The pressure cooker is ideal for cooking things like brown rice or Irish oats which usually take a lot of time. This is my third one. The first one just went dead and the second one the plastic release valve just crumbled. I can't these units are of the highest quality. So it's probably not worth it to spend a lot of money on a more expensive model.

Great little cooker
I am a huge fan of pressure cookers and this one holds up well. My go-to is a Fagor 6 qt all in one but it's at least twice the cost of the Deni. For the price, the features and the size this cooker works great. Such a great easy way to make one pot meals, rice, a juicy pork loin or odd items like bbq sauce, rice pudding, steaming, canning, etc. The options are nearly limitless and to help with ideas I bought the pressure cooker recipe book on O too!

My old-fashioned momma loved this new cooker!
This cooker was a gift to my mom, a single southern belle whom loves to cook. I was afraid she would not like the digital features but they were easy to understand and use. She made a wonderful dinner in it the very night she opened it!
