Can't say I agree with the others here as my glider and ottoman move together quite nicely and I love it! It reclines and locks in whatever position you want it in, and I'm guessing that weight could be an issue with this chair though. I can see where it wouldn't hold on a heavier person, but I'm about 140 pounds and it works just fine. Assembly was a pain, but I've been enjoying it since it got put together!
the ottoman is too short....the edge of the chair slopes up, making the ottoman too low...it doesn't feel right...at least for sitting long periods. could use some more lower back support. would not rec to a friend
The chair is a little disappointing when it arrives in a box that's falling apart. The instructions on putting it together aren't very good. Over all the chair should be cheaper, it is of cheaper quality.
The assembly was the not bad at all. However, the bottom part that was already assembled for you is done horribly. It was not even, so the side of the chair constantly hit the glider making it difficult to glide and it makes a noise everytime. There is no way to fix it and too much of a hassle to return it. Also, when the box came, it was all torn up and parts of the chair is sticking out. I am sure I will never order from Overstock again.
I really like the looks of the recliner and the value. It seems easy to put together if you recieve the screws. I recieved the box in quite a damaged condition so maybe they fell out. Look forward to sitting in it soon.
